You think the committee will put Cincy in over a one loss SEC/B1G team with more strong wins? Oof.

Yet another reason why the playoff needs expansion. There should be room for the best teams to compete.

Leaving Cincinnati out of the playoffs (assuming they win out) would be a tragedy. Leaving a competitive one-loss team out of the playoffs would also be a tragedy.

Pushing the playoff to 8 or 12 teams would alleviate many of these headaches. Someone with a case to be made may still be left out of that expansion, but most of those who deserve a shot at a Natty will get it.

Kentucky really isn't very good. If they beat UGA, that tells me more about UGA than Kentucky.

I think KY is a bit better than they get credit for, and GA is a bit worse. Overall, GA should beat KY... but if this game stays close then KY could end up representing the East in the title game.

Outside of the LSU game, they've looked like Kentucky of old with a few really lucky breaks. LSU isn't a good team.

I think Tennessee and UGA will beat them.

Their offense looked great against LSU running the ball...but not good against UF or USC. They could be coming into their own or LSU could have been bad.

UGA is the best run stopping team in the country, I believe. I can't imagine Kentucky having much success, but we'll see.

Every day is different and teams play up and down to competition, but Kentucky is the 3rd best team we played against this year...UGA was on another level. We couldn't keep up with their athletes. We were equals, talent wise, against Kentucky.

I think that would be the argument against expansion. “Hey, there’s only 4 spots, and even so, little Jimmy got in… no need to expand.”
