The Colts are expected to trade or release Carson Wentz before March 18th.

I guess 27 touchdowns and 7 INTs isn’t good enough.

I hope the Bucs don’t trade for him.

I think I said this somewhere on the old board. the rate of quarterback play is going up so fast. guys who are considered “good” might be finding themselves out of jobs quickly, as teams look for upgrades. I’d be surprised if Wentz was moved, given the investment. But simultaneously on surprised. It’s an arms race.

And because of him they will not have their 1st round pick in April. Bad trade for them.

Kyler Murray update:
Kyler Murray is frustrated with the Arizona Cardinals, sources tell Chris Mortensen.

Despite the acrimony, the team expects things to calm down moving forward, per Mort.

Over Kyle Trask? Well, yeah.

If the Cardinals are trying to lower his value for contract negotiations, they’re going about it in an equally self-centered and immature way.

Oh man, an unsourced quote from a sports fan website putting down a player. It must be true, right?

And according to King Robert Baratheon, Lancel Lannister's mother was a whore with a big fat ass. We not only never proved this but we that's still more information than having an unnamed source.

Like I get where you're going but these "sources" are the worst kind of shit journalism

You mean to tell me a 24 year old millionaire is self centered and immature? Oh because he plays a game he’s supposed to be a man of character!

Yes I would want Kyler. We have the coaching staff to help him. An EX QB who overachieved his whole career as an OC would benefit him tremendously.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray releases statement:
"I play this game for the love of it, my teammates, everyone who has helped me get to this position that believed in me (and) to win championships," Murray wrote. "All of this nonsense is not what I'm about, never has been, never will be. Anyone who has ever stepped between those lines with me knows how hard I go.
"Love me or hate me but I'm going to continue to grown and get better."

Anything coming up? 2022 thread titles?

2022 NFL Combine in two weeks and pro days soon after!

I think this is a year where PFA's will be abundant, with six picks I hope we are looking hard in that regard.

If he refused to go back into the 49ers game, he can go fuck himself, and never, ever stop fucking himself.

If that's not true, and we're just talking about random reports of "immaturity" from semi-anonymous sources, I couldn't care less.

Is Jameis mentally retarded? And if so, would we be entitled to a comp pick for giving him a job? Like as a janitor or something?

I'm being too harsh. My 9 year old daughter makes me videotape her running around and being silly sometimes. Though in her defense, she stopped sucking on her fingers when she was like 3.

I bet your daughter's footwork is faster and better than his. Despite being three she probably also knows to throw the ball only to her teammates.

Odd that all the Winston Homers don't post how great he is going to be anymore.
There are A LOT of Saints fans out there saying, "He only threw 3 picks, Sean Payton fixed him, get the deal done!"

Just for laughs, watch the NFL recaps of his games with the Saints last year and count the throws that easily could have been turnovers. He's the same guy he always was. He was just exceptionally lucky and he only throw 22 times a game (and probably 12-15 of those any given week were behind or at the LOS.

I know YOU know this Pete, but I'm telling an imaginary Saints fan I'm arguing with. I just hope the Saints don't hear me, because him coming back is basically hanging the NFC South banner for us.

Next season is going to suck so badly that my only joy will be watching the triumphant return of The Human Turnover Machine.

Yet sadly, they still will end up beating the Yucks as this team is going to be a dumpster fire.

Yay.
Yeah, they'll go 6-11 and beat us twice by a combined 139 points.

If the Panthers don't get a real QB, the NFCS is going to be like the NFC West 10 years ago. A fire of dumpster proportions. Not only could Kyle Trask be our starter, but he could be the best QB in the division.

I'm curious where JPP ends up, or if he ultimately returns here. It seemed that most assumed he was retiring after the season, based on his severely declined play and the 500+ injuries he suffered during the season. He's also 33.

That said, it seems that every indication is that he's playing again next season. He's not under contract with us

JPP gets a pass last season from me as he was pretty beat up for what seems like majority of the system. I'd take him back but not at the contract he's most likely expecting.
Oof, not me dude. TBF I do not know how much of it was injury related, but his goose looked cooked to me. I'm perfectly fine rolling with Shaq and JTS and I think Cam Gill might have a little game. I admit we will miss his leadership though. Hoping White steps into that role but he might not be that guy.

Yup. I'm perfectly OK with moving on from JPP. Thanks for everything, he had a good run as a Buccaneer and played well in the Super Bowl run while providing veteran leadership to what was a young and not very good defense when he arrived.

But we still have Lavonte for another year or two for leadership along with the young core of players on defense that's been together a few years now.

But most of all we need the money lol...

I'm OK drafting another EDGE rusher if the board falls right and he's BPA like Tryon likely was.

That kid from FSU (Johnson?) was mocked to the Bucs and he's a freak athlete. Looks like a deep Edge rusher class again according to the draft commentators

I don't know where this Winston hate is coming from... okay, that's not true. I do know from where.

But as for last season Winston had the Saints 5-2 with a 14:3 TD:INT ratio.

Don't look now but if re-signed Winston is the best QB in the division.

I am sure the start of free agency, there will be a new thread. The combine should be in college with the draft and prospect threads.

Yeah, totes should heart The Human Turnover Machine.
This.

He was a liability here for 5 years. And if you care about these things, he's a garbage human and a clown to boot. He didn't learn shit with the Saints, either, if that's what you're implying. They let him throw 22 times a game and probably 12 of those were screens. His 1.9 INT% was STILL higher than Tom Brady's, while being asked to do as little as possible. Put him back in this offense, he'll throw another 30 INTs. Not a doubt in my mind.
