We need a kicker and a returner to replace Darden bro.

I get the NFL draft is a gamble. I get getting more rolls of the dice. But I think we missed out on some elite players that fell to us. So bummed. JL out thought himself tonight.

Why didn’t we offer BB our 2 7ths for that pick? He could have taken Strange at #33.

I think Licht is going after a RB. The last few drafts JL has had RBs he's loved that were going around the top of the second and he wasn't able to trade up for them. This time he secures the first pick the in second, which he's coveted repeatedly.

Still don't like it.

Given how much we paid Fournette and that we brought by Gio, I'd say I suspect that a bit less.

You know what pick at 33 would be big dick energy? Trey McBride, the best tight end in the draft.

Supposedly we had a high level of interest with Isaiah Spiller out of Texas A&M

Makes sense. OJ is gone, Gronk is a question mark (I think he plays) and Cam Brate has been here for 9 years.

I’d honestly be fine if we took that Punter from SDSU with the second of those later Jax picks.

That would make sense. The RB draft track record is less than ideal.

Agreed.

If Doctor was able to deduce Licht’s plans for #33, JL has even less guile than I suspected.

Are we pretending he has any guile to begin with in regards to the draft? I think for the most part the board has been able to deduce a ton of his draft plans over the years. He's not very draft savvy and often gets bent over with some of his trades.

I don't think paying $8M for two RBs is asking for too much out of the position. $15M over two years, for two guys. I honestly don't think JF contract impacts this choice at all. If you think your RB crush can be that kind of Cook, Mixon, Taylor, Swift you have FOMO over not being to trade up for, I think you take your boy.

Speaking of drinking, the draft is over tonight and it's still just 8:45 in Vegas. Plenty of time for one of these newly crowned millionaires to make some headlines tonight.

We have three picks tomorrow, and if I were Jason Licht I would try to make it four. I think we can trade down again tomorrow at the top of the second, and I think we also got enough ammo from our tradeback tonight to get another juicy second or third rounder tomorrow.

I think we either try and bait a QB needy team into giving us their 3rd to move up for 33 or take Logan Hall at 33.

I loved the trade. I think it was a perfect end to the first round for the Bucs. Can't wait for tomorrow.
