That's why no one watches the Pro Bowl. Everyone was walking...ridiculous. Happy Winfield had fun.

I guess it's worse than it's ever been. I see a lot on Twitter that's basically saying if the players don't want to play, why watch?

Deion had a pretty brutal take as well.

In the NBA, the game is structured in a way to showcase their athleticism even if 9 of the 10 players aren’t trying. This is terrible in the NFL.

I’m in favor of scrapping the game itself and just naming pro bowl rosters.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara has been arrested by the LVMPD(Las Vegas police department) for battery causing substantial bodily harm. In Nevada, a SBH designation is for
Bodily injury which creates a substantial risk of death or which causes serious, permanent disfigurement or protracted loss or impairment of the function of any bodily member or organ; or Prolonged physical pain.
Yikes.

Edit: Looks like it happened last night at a nightclub. So he injured this person, played in the pro bowl today, and then was arrested after the game.

Anymore details on this, Nano?

Bring back the fucking skills competition for Pete's sake! I'd much rather watch that shit than what the Pro Bowl has become. There doesn't even have to be a game at all, just do some sort of expanded skills competition for each position group or something. I could see that being entertaining as fuck if they didn't take it too seriously.

You could still do a game but make it flag football instead of tackle and cut the quarters to 10 minutes each or so.

Or we have an eating competition between Andy Reid, Vita Vea, Trent Williams, and Tristan Wirfs. Reid can choose the spread.

Fans have asked whether Murray could be unhappy with the situation in Arizona. Murray responded to tweets and Instagram posts of Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans, fueling speculation he could be interested in playing for Tampa Bay.
Edit: I know it’ll never happen but wishful thinking

To circle back to the Murray thing, I think this is fairly standard stuff with star athletes and social media. They want to “be their own independent brand” instead of being tied to their team.

Could be something wrong there. Most likely nothing imo.

OK. If you want to engage in pure speculation based on the social media stuff going on with Murray.

1) The Cardinals have worked out a trade for Aaron Rodgers
2) Murray caught wind of it and does not want to be Winstoned
3) He is flirting with the Buccaneers

I think it is all much to do about nothing but many of never thought Tom Brady would be a Buccaneer so I am not going to say it will never happen.

Well make no mistake. The odds of this being absolutely nothing are about as high as this being something. That's just the age we live in. The only thing we can do is wait. If Murray is unhappy, we're gonna find out in a hurry.

This reminds me of all the time Erik Karlsson spent flirting with the Lightning. Those were the days mate. Took all of $11.5 million per season to keep him away from us

Gonna put this gently...but I think Murray is a bit overrated. Not hugely, but somewhat. He plays in an extremely QB friendly, high-percentage offense, but his numbers aren't really great for the Goodell NFL. He's disappeared down the stretch each of the last two seasons. There are some big games, but a ton of mediocre games in his resume too. And when Hopkins was out this year, he generally looked awful. He's a very exciting player, and his mobility is a huge plus (if we can use it correctly), but I don't know if he'd be worth what the Cardinals would want for him. With 3 years of Team Control left, including the franchise tag, I'd assume they'd be looking for three #1st plus. Not sure I'd make that deal.

My favorite kind of oddsmaking.

They pay off well enough to appear enticing. And the odds are close enough where you get the impression that this could actually happen. When in reality it’s 1 million to one and you’re just being screwed with to give them free money.

I mean, he’s listed as 5’10” on ProFootballReference (LOL, stretched on a rack I guess), but his HC is a freakin dumpster fire as the seasons progress.

What if trade scenario
Tampa Bay Buccaneers go big-game hunting

kyler murray trade to the tampa bay buccaneers
Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports
Buccaneers get: Kyler Murray
Cardinals get: Ali Marpet, Antoine Winfield Jr., 2022 first-round pick, 2022 second-round pick, future first-round pick
No matter what the Buccaneers tell us pubicly, the retirement of Tom Brady had to catch this team off guard. Said retirement came less than a calendar year after Brady led Tampa back to relevance with a Super Bowl title. In short, these Buccaneers are built to win short-term.

Why not double down on this roster with one of the most-talented young quarterbacks in the NFL? It would be a way to find a happy medium between short-term success and long-term contention. If the Bucs keep this roster together, Murray could lead it to Super Bowl contention. It also doesn’t hurt that he’d be working under former Cardinals offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich in the same role with the Buccaneers.
No way Bucs trade Ali Marpet

Here's a question -
2022 1st
2023 1st
2024 1st
EDGE Joe Tryon

For Kyler Murray

You make that deal?

I don't either, but I'm wondering if OBP would. Just as a thought exercise. You'd have your QB for the next 10 years.

WTF Kyler Murray is an elite talent and very young.

Multiple coaches think 1st round picks are overrated. One of them are in the Super Bowl. Surely that can't happen. The fact is that the new young coaches want proven talent. Guess what Kyler is proven talent. Yes some of you think he is overrated. He has an offensive line that makes the Bengals offensive line look like pro-bowlers. Instead of Tryon, I would offer White. He is a shit stain of an ILB.

I'm just a tad shy of calling Murray an "elite talent." He's exciting. He's capable of huge games. But he's equally capable of throwing up huge turds in key spots. Without D-Hop, he was just a guy. He collapsed down the stretch this year. He looked like Ben DiNucci in the playoffs at home. His numbers are high-average for the Goodell era. This despite a coach who runs an offense engineered to get him cheap production.

I don't go beyond two #1s for him. Which won't get it done, but like I said, I don't think he's actually on the market.
