They're 8-2 in their last 10 games. It's impressive that we were one of their 2 losses, especially after how the game was going.
Ever since starting the season 0-3 the Colts have only lost 1 game in regulation (to the Bucs). The other 2 losses were in OT to the Ravens and Titans when both of those teams were healthier and playing better than they are currently.
Nobody wants to play the Colts come the playoffs with how they play.

Look who they played to make them 0-3. They’re one of the top tier football teams in this league when healthy. I’ve respected them since the first time I watched them. They’re a very good football team when Wentz doesn’t go full on Dan Orvlosky combined with Eli Manning at his worst.

I've been gassing up the Colts for a while so you're preaching to the choir. They know their identity and it's a formula that plays well in Dec-Jan with how they run it, play defense, and take the ball away.
You have to both have a formidable run defense and load up on the run defensively to force the ball into Wentz's hands. The Bucs and Titans both did that and were able to get close wins.
They're certainly not a team you want to fall behind b/c they are built to play from ahead. But if you get into a shootout type of game with them it plays to their weaknesses b/c Wentz (like JimmyG, Jameis, Baker, etc) will throw a couple to the wrong team.

Yea Wentz really is the key. Wentz & Reich that is. Wentz seems to know his limitations. It's Reich who was hell bent on proving he could "fix" Carson Wentz. But he is who he is. He's good enough to make a few plays but shouldn't be dropping back all game long. It exposes him more to turnovers.

What fascinates me about our game against the Colts is that they had a 10 point lead at halftime. They came out 2nd half with 8 straight passes. Didn't even try to get Taylor involved. That drive ended with a Shaq sack/fumble recovered by us and we scored a TD on the ensuing drive.
Colts very next drive, 7 straight passes. That drive ended with that great AWJ INT. We score the go ahead TD at that point.
To that point, Taylor had 7 rushes for 24 yards. Not All-World, but good enough I think that you wouldn't completely abandon the run.
It's no mistake to me that they haven't gone that route in any of their following games and are 3-0 at that point. We taught Reich a lesson that day. Play to who you are.

Yeah, I just think the Bucs run defense played a big factor and Reich was just calling what the defense dictates.
When the Bucs are in base defense with Vea-Suh-Gholston (or Nacho mixed in) and expecting run it's really tough for offenses to hand it to a Tailback and have success. Especially if the QB isn't a really good athlete/threat to run via a read-option. We can just physically dominate the LoS when we want to when we play short yardage/smashmouth.
As flawed as the Bucs are, we match up well with the Colts. Atleast our defense does vs their offense.
Watching the Seahawks vs. Bears game and the Bears just got jobbed with a no-call on a DPI. (Yes, @King Bootz I am complaining about officiating. In this case, though, I do not care who wins.)
Wow, saw a very very late flag in the Bears game lucky it was a post-change of possession penalty so it did not take away a potential win for a gritty Bears team.
Just watched the Dallas defender whack Heineke in the face with no call. I wish the officiating was consistent. Didn't matter though because Heineke made an amazing side arm throw.

Twp plays in a row after that Dallas hit Heinicke late - no call both times.

Johnathan Allen & Deron Payne were FIGHTING each other on the Washington sideline. Like punches were thrown. And Payne is HEATED
Yeah, I saw that. TV announcers said they are roommates on the road too. Wonder if it was about something beyond the game.

That was shocking to see honestly. Don't know what the deal is but hopefully they figure that out.
