I don't think this is an issue. Khan won't have to fire Meyer. I am sure he will develop "heart problems" in the offseason.Nano wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 10:45 pm The situation in Jacksonville with Urban Meyer seems to be brewing into something more. It turns out, to the surprise of everyone, he's an asshole. He's having increasing conflicts with his support staff and his players.
Jags owner Khan has already said that there won't be coaching change during the season, but the hot rumor during the day today was that it was being considered by Jags upper management and that Charlie Strong could take over.

Here is to hoping the Bears can get lucky and defeat the Packers.

Re: 2021 NFL Season
Arizona might be much more dangerous than people are giving them credit for.
Their only 2 losses are against the Packers, who are obviously great, and the Panthers without Murray or Hopkins playing. And if you go back to that Packers game, Murray got hurt and Hop barely played.
Now they are getting healthy at the right time.

Are you sure that the Bucs are 100 percent? Stop with your hyping up opponents and start rooting for the Bucs! That would be a change.

Re: 2021 NFL Season
Rooting for your favorite team and talking about things that are actually occurring are 2 completely different things. You root for a team because you want them to win. I want the Bucs to win. But discussing the state of the team, as well as the state of other teams, as it pertains to what they are actually doing on the field is a completely different thing. That’s why there is a difference between facts and your feelings. I’m discussing facts, you’re discussing feelings.njdungeoneer wrote: ↑Sun Dec 12, 2021 9:37 pm Are you sure that the Bucs are 100 percent? No I am discussing facts about a team that is 10-3 and can stop the run as well as any team . you seem to ignore all of the Bucs injuries and point out the difficulties encountered by our opponents. Please find another team to "root for".

What are you talking about? I’m talking about the Cardinals. In the NFL SEASON thread. They don’t play the Bucs. Haven’t played the Bucs. What’s your deal? You are bringing up things that are not relevant. He was talking about the Cardinals injuries and you brought up the Bucs. This is the 2021 NFL Season thread. Talking about other teams is the point. You are telling people what they ought or not say on a thread about the NFL. Weird.
Re: 2021 NFL Season
I’ll never get what keeps NFL coordinators from double covering Davante Adams. He’s literally the only good receiver the Packers have. Week after week he keeps torching opponents and week after week I see him in single coverage. At least put some additional attention on him when he’s lined up against your slot corner.
You wonder what makes coaches like Belichick and Payton great. I think simply not being a fucking moron accounts for a huge part of it.

Lazard and MVS are competent #2 & #3 guys but I agree with you. I'd make them beat me and wouldn't give Adams a chance. He is arguably the best receiver in football. It's close between him and Cooper Kupp IMO.Max wrote: ↑Sun Dec 12, 2021 10:02 pm I’ll never get what keeps NFL coordinators from double covering Davante Adams. Did AJ Dillon play in the NFC Championship game? I can't imagine tackling his big ass in Lambeau would've been much fun.

Being tied with just Dallas, we win the head to head tie breaker and would've been 3rd. But if we lost and GB also lost, in a 3 way tie, we'd drop to 4th.
The 1st tiebreaker all 3 teams have in common is divisional record. Dallas is undefeated in their division, so they'd be 2nd. We and GB are both 2-1, so we'd move to best record against common opponents. The games we have in common are Saints, WFT, Rams. Packers are 2-1 in those games, we are 0-3. So we'd fall to 4th.
But if we had lost and GB had won, we'd be 3rd.

Fields needs to learn how to get rid of the ball quicker or he won’t be a starter long. I don’t see much of an upgrade over trubisky so far LOL

Chicago did well early on. But Fields turnovers have accounted for 14 GB points.

Joey Bosa cracked the code. He managed to disrespectfully taunt the opponent but in a way the elderly NFL referees would never understand.
Re: 2021 NFL Season
That is obvious from the continued idiotic posts you have been making.
Re: 2021 NFL Season
The officials just stole a turnover from the Bears. The guy was out of bounds with contact and re-established himself and they still called the penalty. Sad.

The top teams in the NFC are starting to separate themselves. Tomorrow night just might be the Rams last chance to take a stand in their division.
