Jones came to play. Hyde just made a crazy play, Jones has none of the blame for that pick.

He does deserve blame. He threw it into double coverage. QB has to mitigate risk. At least my opinion.

Nah @ATrain is right here. That wasn't double coverage. Hyde was playing center field and hauled ass to cover ground and get in position for that pick. That was all him because otherwise Agholor has a TD.

Bills look impressive. They're the best chance at ridding the NFL of another Mahomes SB which is literally the worst case scenario.

Even more impressive when you consider Agholor had the corner beat. Hyde made that play. That's what All-Pro players do.

Bad ass, back to commercials. So annoying when the game interrupts my Pfizer and Verizon ads

Buffalo has what it takes to be the best team in football. An argument can be made that they are. Finished #1 in point differential. #1 in defense in yards and points allowed. They don't have many glaring weaknesses.

Nobody wrote: Sat Jan 15, 2022 7:26 pm Alex Leatherwood was every bit as obvious an utterly awful pick (when I scouted him, I placed him somewhere between 5th round to undraftable I think?) as Creed Humphrey was a lock to be an NFL elite Center.

Its crazy how NFL personnel collectives can swing-and-miss that badly. So many fundamental aspects of Leatherwood's play at Alabama screamed bust.
Mayock only had 49% control of personnel with Gruden so I'm wondering if he's the reason they made all those weird picks.

Assuming mayock is retained he won't have any excuses this draft.
Whether it was majority Mayock or majority Gruden or majority SEC scout or whatever it was...it happened.

And not only that, but there was more than a few outlets that (inexplicably in my opinion) projected Leatherwood as an upper echelon OL prospect in the draft. Meanwhile, his tape was riddled with fundamental problems that should have steered people away from him.

What I'm getting at is how much of this is just peer contagion (underwritten by people who just don't know what they're talking about)?

Remember when Belichick took away your best offensive weapon? Remember when he was a defensive guru? So far not impressed.

Hard to do when your best offensive weapon is the QB.

Other than Allen though, Diggs is their best weapon and he's been pretty quiet. 2 catches for 15 yards on 3 targets. Josh Allen is simply Super Man tonight

I was shocked when they took him. Maybe he can move to guard and be serviceable but he's already a complete failure at tackle and yet another raiders draft whiff.

This next draft will reveal if the raiders are handicapped by bad draft process fundamentally or if Gruden pulled the strings and relied on good ol boy scouting.

Patriots getting deep dicked. They don't have the horses needed to get them back in this game

Save for catastrophic self destruction by the Bills and the Patriots will be lucky to only lose by 30 when it's all said and done.

Patriots need speed on defense. Realistically, they could use an entire new wide receiver room. It’s kind of incredible how bad Bill’s drafted receivers.

The Patriots are usually among the least talented 53 man rosters in football. The way they've gotten by is elite level coaching, scheming and execution. Bill prefers guys who can play a specific role over Uber talented athletes that can do it all.

Eh.. Jones needs to recognize Hyde is basically Ed Reed 2.0.

I hope this Bills team shows up at KC.

They've been up and down at times. One game they look unstoppable (like tonight), the next they lose to the Jaguars.

Nobody in the NFL beats this Bills team though. We could before we lose Godwin and AB, but we wouldn't have the firepower now

This one is on GM Bill. His team isn't talented enough to hang with the Bills.

That’s fair. Either way they’re not prepared for today. This is embarrassing. This has to be Bill’s most embarrassing playoff showing.

If we're being honest, Buffalo beat themselves when they ran the ball 1 time the entire 1st half and came away with 3 points. They made our guys jobs easy

Nothing will be as embarrassing as losing to Mark Sanchez at home in the playoffs. This is what Buffalo does. They have the team that can win it all.

It’s not a firepower issue. The problem would be stopping this Bills team. If we tackled well and played solid defense (like last year’s run) then we beat the Bills. If we play piss poor defense like we have the past several weeks we will get run out of the gym.

Josh Allen is the best offensive weapon? The only buffalo player you had in your MVP discussion was Diggs.
