Re: What are you playing?
I've been on a big Stellaris kick of late. it's a massive 4x empire building game where you attempt to take over or destroy the galaxy, a little like the Civ games but grand sci fi instead.
Re: What are you playing?
tough game.. but very rewarding feeling when pulling off a nice shot/putt. I will say that putting and chipping around the greens is difficult, and sometimes it might feel like it's a little too much, the emphasis of being good around/on the green is spot on to 'real' golf.
If you like golf and understand all of the different factors that go into a shot, then you'll like this game.

Finally have a full release date for BG3, and lo and behold Divinity: Original Sin 2 is on sale. Spoiled myself. Anyone played? What should I expect?
Side note - One ending away from 100% completion on CP2077. Digging the Edgerunners additions/Easter eggs.

Re: What are you playing?
Just bought the gta trilogy remaster while it’s on sale. I know it has its problems but had to get it for the nostalgia alone. Only thing I noticed so far is the audio gets kinda muddy at times.

If you're waiting for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, you'll have to wait a bit longer.

Hogwarts Legacy is super fun. My entire family has a character.
Re: What are you playing?
This looks like something I'd be interested in buying when it releases.

Aliens: Dark Descent challenges us to recruit and level up a squad of Colonial Marines as we explore the dangerous planet. Deploy your team strategically to safely make your way through the zone, but tread carefully as death is permanent.

Re: What are you playing?
Trackmania was recently released on xbox so I've been playing it a lot.. fun game and addictive. Addictive to the point where I question to turn it on because I know it's gonna lock me in for far too long.
Re: What are you playing?
Interesting. I had never heard of it. Went to Xbox and they were offering it for free so I figured, why not.

What's the early review?
Re: What are you playing?
It’s hard! I definitely have a learning curve to overcome. I’m playing on easy level atm. Once I get the hang of all the mechanics, I’ll try moving up to normal difficulty.
Setting up your initial character traits is a crap shoot. There are many combinations to choose from. While it gives good descriptions for each, honestly, until I get into the game, I have know way to know if my choice will ultimately fit my play style.
Oh, and the graphics and sound are as good as advertised.

I expected there to be someone here talking about Helldivers 2. It's the most fun I've had in a game for quite a while. It's as if Halo, Starship Troopers and Warhammer 40k had a baby, and that baby chain smoked cigars. For the few people that haven't heard of this game yet, here's the trailer.

Re: What are you playing?
You just spread democracy.
No, it's a straight up Co-Op multiplayer that you launch into a planet and play missions that may last 4 min or 45 min (the longest mission) where you kill swarms of insects or robots and work together to achieve objectives. You can call him new guns (that shoot down), call in air strikes, respawn players (max limit to this) and you earn samples, medals, and money to buy new guns/strikes/weapons. The graphics are really good and there is friendly fire, but it's a lot of fun to play. Each mission is 1-4 people (people can join or leave during a mission), but there are missions all over going on and you can see their ships in the distance.
All players (hell divers) are working to liberate planets and you collectively get rewards for doing so in a time period. The one that ended yesterday was 100% defend 10 planets in 10 days and every gets 50 medals (that's a ton). Each mission is like a fraction of a percent, so it's cool to see people from all over doing hundreds or thousands of missions on a planet.
I like I can hop in a mission (maybe one that has already started) play for 5 min and get new perks, then leave.
edit: Only PS5 and PC. Outside of Starfield, Playstation has the best exclusives. Luckily they just started sending them to PC.

I've never played a multi-player co-op game. Doubt I'll start now. I like flying solo. loluscbucsfan1 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 12:41 pmYou just spread democracy.

NCAA 25 is awesome. Great job, EA...about time.
Re: What are you playing?
I’m holding off on this until the new year. I know I will have no life as soon as I turn this thing on.
Re: What are you playing?
still glitchy.. not giving EA another dime.

Re: What are you playing?
I haven't had any real glitches. I've seen some online, but I've put in maybe 15 hours and it's been perfect. Can't say the same for Madden.
I do appreciate that it's a new design instead of a Madden re-skin. Different controls, physics, models, etc.
It's so much more immersive with the stadiums, crowds, crowd noise. If you are playing a top 10 stadium you will randomly get the wrong plays called him (different from what you selected) cannot see receiver icons, they don't get audibles, etc. It's basically NCAA 14, but more impact, especially with kicking...I rarely kick late in a game in a crazy environment.
