Fantasy Football Advice

Post by Brazen331 »

Didn’t see a thread like this so I will start it. Did my first FF draft of the year really early…don’t really like drafting early. It’s a Yahoo Winner’s League, my only league on Yahoo this year probably besides IABL League because my state won’t allow me to play in any money leagues.

Draft resulted like this, 10 teams, I had 7th overall:

QB Matthew Stafford
WR Keenan Allen
WR Tee Higgins
RB Christian McCaffrey
RB Alvin Kamara
TE Darren Waller
FLEX Travis Etienne
DEF New England
K

RB R Penny
WR Amari Cooper
WR Elijah Moore
QB Aaron Rogers
TE Mike Gesicki
WR Robert Woods
RB Chubba Hubbard

As you see, I didn’t draft a K. Come game time, who do I drop? I’m leaning Gesicki or Rogers.

Running a team on ONE QB is really risky, drop Gesicki when the time comes

In a 10 team he's find. I wouldn't carry two QBs in a ten team league, you can find guys on the wire.

I really like the team, good job.

There seems to be more depth out there this year. I wouldn’t take McCaffrey at #1 but if he’s going to drop to #7 I’ll pull the trigger all day as long as you secure the handcuff.

It's risky but it has the big kind of swings that wins chips.

Good roster. It will be interesting to see how quick Penny goes in the drafts, I wanna grab him in the 5th or 6th round if he's still there. Kamara cost me my semi-final game last year; but not his fault, damn Saints did not convert a single third down against the Dolphins. I'm wondering if Davante Adams will open up Waller more? He did not have the season last year he did in 2020.

Ended up getting 2nd pick, draft is in a few weeks. JT going #1, am I crazy for thinking Najee Harris is the guy at 2? Every ranking site has CMC, but with the injury history I’m weary. 12 team Half PPR

IMO, PIT will be trailing a lot, taking away from NH's touches. I'd go Ekeler, but I could talk myself in to Dalvin Cook at 2.

Not sure if there are any other dynasty players out there, but one of my two cash leagues is dynasty and I’m obsessed with it.

But for those that are familiar if anyone, how can I improve my team? Have 3 firsts in next years draft. 1QB, 12 teams, all TDs 6 points. Really going after a chip.

QBs: Russell Wilson, Deshaun Watson, Kenny Pickett

RBs: Jonathan Taylor, Alvin Kamara, AJ Dillon, Michael Carter, Tyler Allgeier, TDP

WRs: Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Brandin Cooks, Jameson Williams, Julio Jones, OBJ, Jahan Dotson, Bryan Edwards, Laviska Shenault, Alec Pierce

TEs: TJ Hockenson, Tyler Higbee, Cade Otton

K: Harrison Butker D: Buccaneers
