When ever we played shirts and skins, the team I picked always won! Therefore I feel I'm more qualified to know what my team needs even more than Licht. ;)

You can take 7/8 safeties to camp - have at it, I just want to tell you all these paid to be perfect draft rankers arent right even half the time.

Cameron Thomas

EDGE San Diego State

Height: 6-4 | Weight: 267 | RAS: N/A

Thomas has an impressive array of pass-rush tools. He showcases a potent bull rush, a swim move that could carry him across an ocean in a hurry, and he has double swipe and rip moves at his disposal. However, more impressive than simply possessing these moves is that he is extremely efficient at combining moves to beat his man.

Cameron Thomas

PFF BIG BOARD RANK
78
HEIGHT
6' 4"
WEIGHT
267
CLASS
Jr.
AGE
22.3
While Thomas played like a versatile jumbo defensive end at San Diego State, he showed up at only 264 pounds at the Senior Bowl and then didn't practice all week.
Considering his best reps often came from the interior, that's a touch concerning.
Career Highlights
4+ pressures in 13 of 14 games (2021)
career-high 7 run stops vs. Fresno State (2021)
Sack in nine straight games from Week 4 to Week 13 (2021)
High School – Carlsbad
9.5 sacks
294 receiving yards

I watched him constantly get double teamed and he's throwing guys left and right. Him and Vea in the middle would be a huge huge stone wall. Especially if we end up going back to a 4/3 if Bowles leaves.
He's an interesting prospect. More of a 4-3 physique - think he's about 6'2-6'3 and about 310. But if a guy can play, he can play.

I'm going to keep beating this drum, and when the national media catches up, you can pat me on the back: Travis Jones. Here's a good write up. He's getting severely underrated right now, mainly because dudes don't watch much tape of UConn. But I've watched him, and I know people who's opinions I trust who have watched him. He's legit.

MJW, you made me take a closer look at Jones. I think around this time he was 3rd roundish, 2nd?
I do know when I started picking it was Cameron Thomas and Jones and when Thomas didnt do anything at the combine those roles swapped. Anyways, looking deeper at Jones did it for me. Thx, even though at the time I still didnt see him as a first rounder. I can easily say I was willin to make him our first pick.
