No position has gained more than WR this off-season

Re: The Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Just a great move by the Titans.
Re: The Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
It’s a salary cap league and they’re paying a QB. Gotta be smart and make tough decisions.
Re: The Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Not bad for the Titans tbh.
Re: The Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Tough board for us. I smell a trade down. Deals are flying.
This draft delivered after all.

I forgot the Saints had another 1st round pick. I hate that team.

Well shit...Saints filled their 2 biggest needs with great prospects
Re: The Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Steelers got their pick of the litter at QB. Do they stick with Mitch?

Exactly why I had no issues with the Saints trade. They had 2 glaring needs, WR & OT and addressed them both before the 20th pick.

Pickett gets to stay home.
Re: The Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
No pressure, Kenny. Lol.
Re: The Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
BB about to choose the one WR who will bust in the 1st round.
But seriously, JJ2 could be a target.

Re: The Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
So the only thing they are talking about is his hand size. If that's the major red flag, the future is bright in Pittsburgh.
Re: The Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
They said he’s on time and on target with the ball (during the combine discussion). That’s half the battle.King Bootz wrote: ↑Thu Apr 28, 2022 10:23 pm So the only thing they are talking about is his hand size. If that's the major red flag, the future is bright in Pittsburgh.

Russell Wilson has some huge hands, over 10 inches. And IIRC he has the most fumbles of any QB since he's entered the league. Hand size is a pretty overrated attribute IMO.
Chiefs going WR, Snake.
Re: The Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Pittsburgh had their pick of the QB litter. Spotlight is on Kenny.
Re: The Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Johnson and Wyatt still there with 4 picks left to 27
Re: The Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
The Willis fans always reverted back to the physical tools when making his argument (not here, other places online). Steelers have earned my trust at this point when it comes to these sort of decisions.
Re: The Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Five picks left till 27. Preliminary top five:
Jermaine Johnson, Edge, Florida St
Devonte Wyatt, DT, Georgia
Andrew Booth, CB, Clemson
Tyler Linderbaum, IOL, Iowa
...
...
...
Umm...
I dunno. Dean, Lloyd, and Hill are all good defenders and would certainly be appreciated in future when our defense ages further, but I don't know if they'd see the field much this year.

Re: The Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
How does JJ2 fit in here with how Bowles does things? I really don’t know.
Re: The Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
What about Nakobe? Never really considered him because didn’t think he would still be there. Some interesting guys still out there. Johnson could not possibly still be there, could he?
Re: The Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
I thought he'd be gone by this point, and I haven't been scouting edges this draft.
One could argue that JJ would be BPA at 27, but you could also rightly say that he'd likely be a developmental backup as a rookie, JTS round 2.
If we pick him, I'll have to do some speed scouting.
Re: The Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Okay y'all we're coming up on our pick. Put them up. Who you want?
Top 5:
Tyler Linderbaum
Jermaine Johnson II
Devin Lloyd
Nakobe Dean
Lewis Cine

Re: The Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Just like that, the board is kinda juicy.
Re: The Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
There is legit a lot of good prospects that are going to be available.

LETS GO LLOYYYYYYD!!!
Re: The Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
The best player. With a slight bias on who can contribute year one. I think we can use dudes everywhere.
