This I has been a worse case scenario. Everything bad you guys mentioned could happen during this past week is playing out in front of our eyes…including the penalties. And the tackling is still suspect. When we were discussing blowouts, I don’t think any of us thought it would be this game. If they don’t do something soon to turn this around, we’re in for a long afternoon.

It doesn't make sense at all.

As far as how far off the receiver a corner plays, it depends on the defense. I've played on defenses where it was VERY controlled, and I've played on defenses where coordinators and position coaches give their players leeway. Without being in the meeting rooms, it's hard to say.
