2022 Wildcard Weekend Review

Post by Noles1724 »

So the first rd is in the books and the main takeaway that I had was that a vast majority of the winners appeared to play their best games of the year. Which should be expected, but it's kind of scary to see how well future opponents appear to be playing.

Of those teams, it 'feels' like KC and Tampa's wins were more about the opponents not being that great. It was nice to see Tampa do it's thing, but one has to wonder if Philly was anything worth hanging our hats on as a solid victory. Same can be said for KC. Pitt probably shouldn't have been in the playoffs and their inability to put points up really never gave KC anything to be worried about.

Cincy looked good, but were the raiders really anything that great? HC fired, half the team in jail.

Bills looked the part and really put it on NE.. this is a legit dominate performance any time hoodie is on the other sideline

SF looked good, Dal not so much. props to SF, but I'd place this win under Tampa and KC in terms of being convincing.

LA is scary. weapons everywhere on both sides of the ball. AZ did what AZ has been doing for the last part of the season.. and that's suck. Still you can see that LA was playing a JV team.
