Re: 2021 NFL Season
@ATrain you kinda did meltdown there. I just asked the question. I said your argument and the argument @Pirate Life made were excellent stories, albeit moreso heart over head.
I was simply curious as to what happened with "objective truths".

Re: 2021 NFL Season
Pointing out why you're a cunt and a plague to the board isn't "melting down". That's the objective truth you're looking for. You've been the only source of petty arguments during my ban and ever since I returned. You've always been the source of nonsense on these boards. The Bucs boards would be better without you. Those are some more objective truths for you. Satisfied? Good, no go fuck off.

You didn't even quote what I said, you removed the end to make it appear like a make a definitive statement
That's what I said. Which is pretty clearly in jest or at the very least being hyperbolic and in no way me making a claim that we are going to lose to the Jets.
God you're a sleezy punk.

Re: 2021 NFL Season
I don't think you've watched many of the Lions games this year honestly. They have been playing a lot better than their record indicates. They got royally screwed in the Ravens game (since when is the delay of game penalty subjective?) and have lost three games on kicks from the other team as time expired (the Ravens one should have been an attempted 71 yard one instead of 66).King Bootz wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 12:12 pm Both of those would be excellent stories. It's clear both of you are speaking with your hearts and not your heads. The Lions haven't about as good a chance to beat the Packers as the Panthers have of beating us. All of that "playing hard" has amounted to what is still a 2-12-1 team.
It is rather peculiar @ATrain isn't going with his usual "objective truths" gimmick here regarding the Lions/Packers. Then again, he did say we were going to lose to the Jets so maybe Vince got tired of that gimmick and wants to turn him baby face again.
And like I said, I don't expect them to win but I'm not saying it's not possible. Hell, they destroyed the Cardinals just a couple of weeks ago who lost by 1 score to the Rams the week before and 1 score to the Colts the week after that. It's not like they are the 2008 Lions.
Re: 2021 NFL Season
The best way to ensure a Lions win is to have Bootz bet that they won't win. That dude causes Vegas lines to shift.ATrain wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 8:11 amIt's the NFL. Weird things happen. Any given Sunday. The Lions are getting paid to play as well. You know, all the things you usually say when the Bucs lose to an inferior opponent.King Bootz wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 7:56 am
Now make a case for the Lions beating the Packers week 18. That's the ONLY way #1 even becomes an idea
It's a divisional game and the Lions roster are fully bought in to Dan Campbell and would love nothing more than to play spoiler for the Packers.
The Lions shocked everyone when they blew out the Cardinals.
I wouldn't bet money on it, but the Packers losing two straight isn't out of the question. They BARELY won their last two games as if. Mayfield threw 4 picks and the Packers needed every second of the game to hold on to a narrow 2pt lead. The Ravens are a successful 2pt conversion away from beating the Packers with a backup QB.
As a fan, there's nothing else I can do but hope for the best but prepare for the worst. So that's what I'm doing, hoping for the Packers to lose.

Quit being a coward and answer the question, kiddo. Packers or Lions week 18? Really isn't a hard question13F11B wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 5:11 pmNo worries, Mr. Waffle, Pocket Lint, Welcher. You are correct it is not a hard question. However, it is a question that has no relevance to the post. Keep trying to divert. That is what you do best after crying to your momma.King Bootz wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 5:14 pmQuit being a coward and answer the question, kiddo. Packers or Lions week 18? Re: 2021 NFL Season
There was not much chance that the Packers would miss out on the #1 seed but this certainly decreases those chances.

Well it was misrepresented. After a lot of people dumping on that take, ATrain responded with:Doooshnzl wrote: ↑Fri Dec 31, 2021 2:32 pmDude, if you didn't make so many ridiculous posts, this dick head wouldn't be able to throw them if your face. ATrain also said this in another thread, so he clearly didn't mean it:
Yes, ATrain has "sky is falling" takes, but this was clearly misrepresented.ATrain wrote: ↑Wed Dec 29, 2021 5:52 pmJust keeping the Bucs within the context of this season. None of us thought the Redskins would beat us, and that same attitude is going on with the Jets. Of COURSE the Jets shouldn't beat us. The only loss we have on our record that we have any business having is the Rams loss.
I think we'll win, but give how uneven the team has been overall coupled with all our injuries and now COVID ravaging the roster, if we have another stupid loss to a team like the Jets, I won't be that shocked.
Re: 2021 NFL Season
I wonder how older players who had records in 12 & 14 game seasons felt when they moved to 16 games in '78...

Re: 2021 NFL Season
TJ Watt is two sacks away from breaking the single season record while also missing two games with injuries. Three so far tonight, so might do it with a week to spare.
Re: 2021 NFL Season
That is an amazing record. I thought for sure this year was going to be his first losing season the way they started out (1-3).

Re: 2021 NFL Season
Until the Steelers find a good QB, it seems like the yearly narrative is gonna be about Tomlin keeping his streak going. Never doubt the Steelers too much but seems like they’re in neutral right now.
Re: 2021 NFL Season
I was wrong...I said he wouldn't break it, now, I'd bet my life he does. What a complete monster he is.Pirate Life wrote: ↑Mon Jan 03, 2022 10:29 pm TJ Watt is two sacks away from breaking the single season record while also missing two games with injuries. Re: 2021 NFL Season
TJ's only issue is injuries. He seems to always miss several games a year. Otherwise, he's the best pass rusher in the league.
Re: 2021 NFL Season
What?!?!? He's missed multiple games once in his career (this season), and even still, he's on pace to break the all-time, single-season sack record. You're pulling alternate realities out of your ass as usual.
