I actually wonder if AB and Edwards stay with the team now. The only other similar case is the NHL's Evander Kane, and he was suspended 21 games and dropped by his team. Hell, nobody else at the top level would even touch him.

It would be a terrible move to cut either because of this.

Would you trade Tryon for Christian Barmore right now? He was the guy most of us wanted when we were on the clock. He's been excellent for the Patriots thus far.

Has Tryon shown enough, or do you upgrade the defensive line and hope to find JPP's replacement next draft?

Probably not. The trade deadline was 5 weeks ago. Goodell would do something like slap my wrist or slaughter my first born, depending on where his punishment wheel landed.

Probably not.

With Vea and Suh on the roster Tryon is more valuable this year...and we are pretty much all in this year.

Also, replacing Suh is a lower priority than replacing JPP. EDGE is more of a premium position and more difficult to find.

I wouldn’t have predicted that coming into the season. I’m still stubbornly clinging to the idea that he’s really not great and the o-line has improved a lot. Maybe changing his number brought the mojo back.

Lenny is a better RB than he was last season. He's even been better than 'playoff Lenny' imo when he really played his best for us last season.

His YPC rushing the ball is up, but most importantly the reason he leads ALL NFC RB's in scrimmage yards is his vast improvement as a receiver out of the backfield. Which we knew he was capable of being a good receiver out of the backfield going back to his last year in Jacksonville when he had 76 receptions.

But for whatever reason his hands were liability last season and he wasn't on the same page w/ Brady too often on where to be.

Imo it looks like Lenny is not having to think as much out there this season and it's allowing him to play more relaxed and use his god given gifts.

This is the version of Fournette we hoped for when we signed him just prior to the 2020 season, but wasn't sure we'd ever see.

He has elevated to #5 RB for YAC. 115 yards from 1st place (Ekeler). By the way Godwin is the #3 WR.

On Fournette, it looks like he will hit 1000 rushing yards. 4 games left and only 222 yards. Considering he has now had 2 100 yard rushing games out of his last 3 games, seems like a great chance. 2015 was the last season we have a 1000 yard rusher (although ROJO was close last year).

As rewarding as that would be, we need to win this game. And throwing at Marshon Lattimore that many times is not a winning game plan.

We need to see Lenny and a lot of him. The thing that has killed us in this series the last couple of years is their pass rush getting to our QBs and causing turnovers. Keep them honest and don't abandon the run.
