IABL PREDICT THE SCORE: Wildcard Round, Washington @ Tampa Bay, 12 January

Welcome back and welcome to the playoff edition of IABL PREDICT THE SCORE! The rules remain the same so let's get to it.

We begin out post season the same way we began our regular season, at home vs the Washington Commanders. These are both very different teams than in week 1. Both have rounded into form and have their identity set as a team.

Vegas has this one close. The Bucs are 3 point favs at home and the O/U is 50.5. We think they have it right. This will be a very close, very tough game.

Tiebreaker this week will be rushing yards by both teams. This is the playoffs so stakes get higher. The Commanders and Bucs boasts the #3 & #4 rushing attacks in football respectively. Commanders average 154.1 vs 149.2 for the Bucs. However run D is a different story. The Bucs have the 4th best run D in football, giving up just 97.8 yards per game, while Washington has one of the worst. 30th overall and they all 138 yards per game.

We are more healthy than we’ve been in the last five games plus. I continue to postulate that JD is going to come out nervous. So nervous that he throws a pic in the first half. Since a lot of guys are coming back from being injured, this means they also have fresh legs. I think our defense looks better than they’ve looked in a long time. And our run game is gonna shine. Evans has something to prove against Lattimore and he will do so, especially since Lattimore‘s hammy isn’t completely healed.
