Last night's win against Vegas was wild. To come from behind to win with 2 goals in the last 2:22 was pretty awesome.

I haven't been to a game yet this year, and I'll admit I'm only half-assed following the team for some reason, but I have the automatic pop-up score tracker on my phone for every game, so I at least keep tabs on them that way. It seems like we score in bunches this year, no? As in, we either lose by only scoring a goal or two, or we win by scoring 8 or some such nonsense. At first it just seemed streaky, but it's developed into a season-long pattern. At least, that's how it has been striking me.

Unfortunately, it’s true. With Jeff Vink selling the team, this team will revert to its early 90s state. No one cares about the Lightning anymore.

Lightning went from out of the playoffs to 6th seed in 6 games. They still have a realistic shot at the 2 seed. Not bad for long in the tooth

Don't look now, but the Lightning have gone on a tear over the past month. Since Feb 1st, they are 11-1 with one stretch winning 8 in a row. They are now in 3rd place in the division only 3 pts behind the first place Panthers with 78 pts vs Panthers 81 pts. They still have 20 games to play in the regular season.
