That was on the Bears QB for taking so long to get the play off. The Bears needed to save the TO if there was a completed pass inbounds so they could kick a FG.

There was 26 seconds left after that sack. You call the TO there, get a pass completed in bounds and get your FG team out there. Teams practice that scenario all the time to success.

The Bears weren't prepared for the situation, which is why they are 4-8 now.

I think they were shocked they were in it.

It's borderline malpractice to retain Eberflus after that abomination of an ending.

Detroit got lucky as fuck that the Bears are legends of ineptitude.

Looking forward to the Cowboys… if we can get Turbin behind the line, I really like the chances of a blowout.

For those wondering, the Bears record last season at the same time...4-8. Eberflus has not so quietly been the worst HC in the NFL.

If we’re considering players playing to their best of their abilities… Daboll. He’s the worst next to Doug Pederson in Jacksonville.

I'm talking their entire tenure. Daboll and Pederson to their credit have something to show for their time in their respective cities. Eberflus has a 14-33 record and is heading fast to a 3rd straight 4th place finish in the NFC North.

The Bears went 7-10 last year and told the world that Justin Fields was the source of their problems. So what'd they do? Shipped him to Pittsburgh for a 6th round pick, traded for Montez Sweat, traded for Keenan Allen, signed DeAndre Swift, drafted Caleb Williams, used another top 10 pick to take WR Rome Odunze, hired a new OC and QB coach. Made all of these changes, loaded up their roster and it has them in the exact same position they were in a year ago.

There's a glaring hole with the moves they made and it's killed them this season. Same piss-poor o-line with several wasted high draft picks on it. Choice of offensive coordinator was a really bad decision as well.

But Chicago won't get much better until ownership changes or changes how they run the team. Same issue Cincinnati has, but at least they aren't quite as cheap in Chicago.

Miami is beating Miami. Can’t block, can’t run the ball, receivers not getting open, can’t tackle on defense, stupid penalties. They look completely unprepared.

They basically drafted the exact same holds the ball too long hero QB though.

Kurt Warner did a nice piece on their offense last week. They’re running a 1 through 5 progression scheme instead of splitting the field.

It isn’t doing Williams any favors. But, why do they draft this type of QB and run this system?

Chicago’s decision making process and ultimately their plan doesn’t seem to have any direction.

If you're watching this game, not exactly. 6 incomplete passes and a TD. There were back to back plays where Terron Armstead didn't bother coming out of his stance and he got sacked by an unblocked defender. Oh and Miami RBs have 24 yards on 9 rushes.

If you want to explain how any of this is a QB problem I'm more than happy to listen.

Again, are you even watching the game?

Not only did the OL player that allowed the sack get beat like a drum off the snap but he also got called for holding. Any positive play for the offense wouldn't have counted anyway.

Tell me how thats on the QB.

True, but with that o-line even this year's Mayfield and 2021 Brady would be holding the ball too long =)

That was the tipping popoint. Furthermore he was 14-33 anyway as HC and yesterday's loss combined with Green Bay's win cemented the Bears 3rd straight last place finish with him as HC. This was definitely the right call.

So Bootz gets called essentially a slur, and responds with the Chiefs clinching x post. Very classy.
