My guess is that their use of the word "massive", was in relation to his existing contract. At UConn, Hurley has a 6 year $31M deal. Maybe they felt that a 125% increase is "massive". But then again, it is ESPN after all.

So I sometimes do NBA parlays. NBA Teams are clearly fixing games. Taking out starters with 8-10 minutes left in the fourth quarter. Not even trying.

The Bucks are one of the worst teams at doing this. Last night against the Knicks they took out starters down 20 with 8 minutes left. Dame had been looking like he wasn't interested. You don't quit though. You're 1-7 at this point. Why are you giving up with 8 minutes left?

Are the Knicks better than you by 20 points every night?

This year there are 86 players who are attempting 5 or more 3 pointers a game -- that's nearly 3 players per team

20 years ago, in the 2004/05 season there was only 20 players.

My dad has a collection of VHS tapes from the 90s featuring Jordan basketball and the 1991-1993 NBA finals. Watching these tapes shows that the game was more defensive back then.
