I don't care for Tua, but typically you take away the starting QB the team doesn't do well. Especially when the team is built around the offense and that QB facilitating literally everything.
That’s fair. Maybe it’s because McDaniel always seems stoned at press conferences or because he doesn’t look or act the part that leads to my bias against him.
He's definitely different.

This is nothing new, Snake. The Chargers have the same problem they had when the Raiders were in town.

PFF is a bit of a necessary evil imo. It gives us some way to sort of quantify how good some players are at what they do. But their weird way of grading plays leads to shit like this:

Goff had a perfect game. Zero incompletions, zero turnovers (and caught a TD!). Smith had a very good game as well, but apparently because he had so many pass attempts without using play action he played better than Goff?

Ehh,

18/18 doesn’t tell you as much as you think. 18/18 on check downs isn’t very productive.

@SaggyBallZ

Since 2012, there have been 82 teams that were 1-3 after the first four games. Eleven made the playoffs, and only two made it to the Divisional Round. None have advanced beyond that.

The #Browns are 1-3

Playoffs probability: 13.4%
Wild Card win: 2.4%
Divisional win: 0.0%

The Lion's had 218 yards after the catch. Only using yards per attempt does not tell the entire story.

I guess putting the ball in a position for yac is over rated too.

Ever been to a Bucs "home" game against the Eagles, Giants, Steelers, etc.? Looks/sounds the same in RJS as in that video.

If you watched the game last night Goff was excellent. Didn't make mistakes, got the ball to his playmaker, and helped the offense put up 42 points. No need in picking nits about how he got to 18/18.

My buddy who lived in LA for years said "They absolutely LOVE football there. The problem is they want to see all the best games. If theirs isn't interesting, they aren't going and they aren't watching."

It's a paradox but it makes sense

Visiting teams taking over stadiums is a growing trend in a lot of places. The Lions, of all teams, had 3/4 of the fans in Arizona. The Chiefs, Packers, Steelers, and 49ers fans take over every stadium. Then you have stadiums in places like Atlanta, Miami, Tampa, L.A. that rarely have a full stadium, it's easy for opposing fans to take over the place. It does seem like more and more stadiums are falling victim to this.

Going back to L.A., they only need one team and that's the Rams. Let them build up their fan base and I think they'll get there in due time. The Chargers need to go back to San Diego.

He's supposedly told the team who he would accept as a team to get traded to. Guessing the Jets are on his list.

Don't think the Bucs need to be in the market for him, but if they want to trade us Bowers cheap I'll listen :D

Jets make the most sense. Apparently you can't teach a dog new tricks and the only WRs Rodgers can throw to are the ones he's already thrown to, so yeah.

Rams could with. Mcvay and co on the verge of retiring, so they just playing for today anyway. Could easily put up the highest pick. Sends him across conferences. He gets a chance with Staffy and a contender.

If healthy we have a top 3 WR room in the NFL.

It's crazy that the Rams have been a team for like 80 years and never had a fanbase that truly, DEEPLY loved them. You spend almost half a century in LA and your city STILL likes the Raiders more after only like 10 years and leaving in 1996. You can win a title in St. Louis with the Greatest Show on Turf and the relocation back to LA is met with about as much indifference by the St. Louis fans as LA has now after winning a Super Bowl.

It is crazy man. The Browns hadn't won ANYTHING in the Super Bowl Era and I still have yet to speak to a Browns fan who didn't compare the relocation to Baltimore to someone dying. Yet a reasonably successful franchise (in the grand scheme of things) in the Rams could disappear tomorrow and LA would just tune in on Saturdays for USC

I would bet money Veach has already made a call or will make a call before the end of the week. But I also would bet a lot more money that Mark Davis will never, ever, not in a hundred million years, trade Davante Adams to KC. Even if Veach offered a 1, I don't believe Mark Davis would even entertain the idea.

On paper it would be fantastic but I think he would fuck up the chemistry this team has built. This 2024 squad is a true TEAM first with no single player outshining the rest. Adams if far too self interested to just be a one of the guys here. He pouts a fuck ton and comes off as a but of a whiner.

He's just not Bucs material imo.

It’s a no for all of those reasons. We also literally don’t have the cap space to add him.

Update

🚨 The Raiders are looking to TRADE Davante Adams 🚨

Here are the 3 best landing spots for the star WR, and why he’d be a great fit on each:

Jets
🔸Reunited with Aaron Rodgers
🔸Plays with a QB he already has chemistry with

Saints
🔸Adams wanted to play with his good friend Derek Carr - which is why he went to Vegas
🔸Adams and Olave would be a dynamic WR duo

Commanders
🔸Gives a big weapon to rookie sensation Jayden Daniels
🔸Washington offense is already historically good through 4 weeks. Adams could take them to another level

Where does Davante land? 🤔

Washington doesn't exactly need him but that would be intriguing.

I think ultimately the Jets or Saints are going to be the destination.

Breaking: The Las Vegas Raiders have informed other teams that they would “consider” trading WR Davante Adams for a package that would include a second-round pick and additional compensation, sources tell Adam Schefter.
