Detroit Stafford is playing tonight. That pick where he was falling to the ground was one of the worst I've seen this year.

Stafford almost looks as bad as Mahomes. Not quite, but almost

Bowles better be scribbling furiously in his notebook.

The Tennessee Flaming Thumbtacks are putting the blueprint out there.

No blueprint in the world can account for having a Jeffrey Simmons. We don't have a guy like that on this defense.

That was a Jameis Winston of the Buccaneers type play.

What in the world happened to the NFL this past weekend?! I wasn't paying any attention and next thing I know, half the favored teams lost. What a cluster that's gonna be in the Pick-em games. LOL

Now sure if this was posted but I was out this weekend.

Really dirty play by rookie QB Mac Jones here. Good think the Pats don't play the Panthers again for a while.

lol, ok... The grab itself isn't dirty, but is that all you see there?

He grabbed is ankle and held it, then rolled over with his upper body on the ankle while he leg whipped Burns' other leg to knock him off-balance.

Leg whipping is tripping in the NFL and it's a 15yr penalty. Usually we only see it with Olinemen who are beat, or a defender got juked and is trying to bring the ball carrier down. But that was still a leg whip by Mac Jones

Grabbing someone's ankle happens alot, but when you roll it over like that it becomes a dirty play b/c that's how you injure people. Imo that play looked dirty and would be surprised if Mac Jones is NOT fined from the NFL this week.

I guess I see the trip is more of the Panthers player trying to spin out of Mac's grip and Mac holding on for dear life. I did not see the leg whip until after @Dread specifically called that part out...yeah, that part is dirty.

If anyone still shits on Matt Nagy for not starting Fields sooner is out of their mind. The rookie looks like a rookie in the worst kind of way. The good news is Fields has all the talent you can ever want but some guys it just takes longer to get ready.

Battle on kid. This will grow you if you let it

Allen Robinson is a top 5 receiver in the league... he's shit this year. They're wasting a precious year of his prime.

Alright so I overvalue Penn State guys…

But nearly 1200 the last two seasons with shit at QB. He’s never played with a legit QB in his career. Imagine his talent with a real QB. He started the PSU WR hitting big trend, then came Godwin.

He's a stat guy. Not much of a difference maker. He's a #1 that probably should've been a #2. Nothing against Robinson. But when you look at the list below, you can't name 2 WRs you'd take him over.

Tyreek Hill
Mike Evans
Davante Adams
DeAndre Hopkins
Stefon Diggs
DK Metcalf
Keenan Allen
Cooper Kupp

Stop with this if only bs. Would Jerry Rice be the goat WR if he didn't have Montana and Young passing him the ball? If the Bucs had drafted Aaron Rodgers, would Bruce Allen and Jon Gruden had stayed with the Bucs for the 2009 season and the leaked phone calls never happened? I mean c'mon man.

I would even add Cee Dee Lamb, DK Metcalf, and Marquise Brown to that list. And wooo, Jamar Chase is looking elite the first half of this season.

Chase drops the ball too much, and has fumble issues. Hollywood, nah. I’m taking Robinson. Cee Dee maybe though, but more likely Robinson.

As good as Tyreke Hill is, I’ve never been a fan of his game.

So last night that NFL and the refs got too brazen with their blatant game fixing and Vegas influence.

A ref literally hip checked a Bears player so he could throw the flag.

A bears player got flagged for looking at the sidelines 30 yards away from him.

With every week that passes the league becomes a bigger embarrassment.

You have half of a good point and you spoil it with nonsense.

No, the league isn't fixing games. There is no financial incentive Vegas, the Mob, or anyone else could offer for them to risk the entire operation, which is what "games fixing" would do to the league. They print money. They're not going to risk that for the Steelers to cover or whatever. And if that was what they wanted, they sure as hell miss A LOT of great money-making opportunities with how things usually turn out in the league.

As for the rest of it, I agree. The flag was mind-boggling and it sure as hell looked like the ref gave the guy a little back-check when he passed by. Could have been incidental. But no way that flag should have been thrown on the player. Important to remember that refs are humans also and many humans are trash.

The officiating has turned this into easily the least I've enjoyed an NFL season. I've said that before. The "lowering the helmet" rule is impossible to enforce in a logical manner. The roughing penalties are either enraging or hilarious, depending on who they happen to. The taunting thing is ridiculous. And worst of all, the "wait to see if there's a flag" ten seconds after every incomplete pass makes it impossible to get excited one way or the other when a play happens down the field.

The league absolutely manages narratives with penalties.

But I'm not talking about individual refs.

They're clearly betting and have money riding on games. They can't hide it anymore and they showed their hand too much last night.

Will there be any consequences? Nope. Which is why the refs and the league to a lesser extent can be so brazen about it.

For the same cost, I'd pick all 3 of our top WRs over Robinson.

@ATrain All I'm willing to do is point out that the ear buds from NFL New York dictate what the refs do, a lot of what the announcers say, and the expert review master sometimes gets it wrong for controversy.

If you actually had any kind of proof you would be an accident on the sidewalk.

Ear buds are just a weapon of communication.
