You really really hate KJ Britt. Did he do donuts in your front yard or something?
You didn't at all address what I said. I can only assume you don't like what I said but you know it to be true. Otherwise you wouldn't have tried to make it personal.
White is a much more athletically gifted linebacker but Britt is usually where he is supposed to be. Sometimes Whites athletic abilities allow him to make up for it. By being where he is supposed to be, Britt doesn't need to be as athletically gifted.
If Britt in in man coverage, then that's more an indictment on Bowles and the coaching staff than it is on Britt.
There's ways to mitigate a slower but more competent inside linebacker. More zone coverage in general, onfield checks vs certain looks, etc. Perhaps easiest; take Britt off the field on third down if he can't handle the associated duties. Ain't no shame in being a two-down linebacker.
I'd like to know why they are so stuck on Watts playing outside linebacker. Plus they seem to like DeLoach and Grier.
Watts is a natural pass rusher who flashed as a pass rusher in practices last year. Bowles was name-dropping Watts in November, saying that he was giving Wirfs and Goedeke "fits" in practice. And he's 240lb, so he's too small for interior work.
Here's hoping he contributes to the rotation more next season.
The schedule release video had, what, a dozen Bucs including clips from Selmon and live Alstott? Beautiful. If you haven't watched it watch it Gerald McCoy was classy in it. Great watch and great art. Brought a lot of good feels.
Selmon, Barber, Evans, Brooks, Godwin, McCoy, David, Alstott, Gronk!, Giles. I might have missed one old time Buc at the end. Watched 4 times. Worth it
