Williams, Maye, and Daniels were seen as the upper echelon quarterbacks in this draft. We will see how that pans out long-term…
But the real story coming into this draft was the second crop of guys, and how they clustered together to round out 6 QBs in the top 12
Nix
McCarthy
Penix
All three are pretty divisive if you follow the amateur and professional draftnik scene.
Who will be the best…of the rest of the 2024 QBs?
Re: Who will be the best…of the rest of the 2024 QBs?
Penix and Nix are 24 years old (well, Penix in 2 weeks).

The answer is obvious, I refuse to answer to this question.
Re: Who will be the best…of the rest of the 2024 QBs?
The age thing is stupid. 3 years won’t make any difference for at least another decade+. Right now, I think Penix is the better prospect of those 3.
Don't tread on me

It's not necessarily just the player, but more importantly the team around them. McCarthy is going to the best situation, imo, so that's my answer.

I'd go with McCarthy because he has JJ and Addison there. Like mentioned above, he's going into the best situation.
Penix has great upside but also huge downside. And he's injury-prone. He would have been a great late-first round pick. No 8? Hell no.
The only thing Nix has going for him is Sean Payton. I think of the three coaches leading these qbs, he's by far the best coach.
