So basically teams with winning records are our bug-a-boo.
This was a bad game. Too many mistakes, sloppy play. But NO simply outplayed us.

Stupid penalties were the story of the game.... Turnovers did not help but I believe they could have been overcome...
Taunting on White was just immaturity in his part and those two roughing calls were bullshit

Payton is a great coach. Compared to the boys in Tampa? Forget about it.

Shooting themselves in the foot with penalties. Can’t do that against a good team like this.
Injuries to the DBs showed too.

Saints are the best team in the NFC right now.

Just glad to walk away without another key player injury.

Penalties did us in .
We are still 6-2 and should get some players back in 2 weeks

Re: Rapid Reactions Week 8
I am pissed off about this loss. I know that bad calls happen in games but it always seems like the skew is hugely in favor of the Saints when the Buccaneers play them in New Orleans.
Overall, the Buccaneers defense played like shit and Tom Brady made some really bad throws. The fumble was on the Oline.
After this loss, my wife told me I can't go outside or answer the door.

This team hates playing the Saints. Brees had to have a career ending performance against us in the playoffs.
Felt like we could have won but just bad plays or penalties on seemingly every single big play. Toughest game to watch in a while.

Will be back, this was just was one of those games. The offense misses AB he makes a huge difference today. Desir got picked on, it might be salty talk but refs are terrible Evans has hands to the face in the end zone which was a no call, and the no call on the first Godwin int, there is no way the penalty discrepancy should have been 11-2. Get healthy over the bye and go on a run week 10.

Re: Rapid Reactions Week 8
About everything that could go wrong did and we were still in it. Tho if we were playing a more explosive team it probably would be a blowout. We gotta do something about the penalties. extended several drives today
Re: Rapid Reactions Week 8
I love overreaction twenty minutes post game.
As DD said, no major injuries.
We’re playing without our starting DB’s and Brown/Gronk(at full health, he looked horrible in his snaps).
Brady didn’t play his best game in a Bucs uni.
Evans actually showed up for a change in New Orleans.
We’ll see these guys later in our territory. Let’s remain optimistic.
And Bootz/Snake, go suck Payton’s dick elsewhere. He left 1:41 on the clock. Brady desn’t throw a piss poor interception, the game is still in hand. His offense took :16 seconds off the clock.
Some bad penalties. JPP looks bad and hurt. He shouldn’t be playing. Sometimes you have to save these guys from themselves.
Winfield played relatively well from what I saw. Whitehead included.
Cockrell doesn’t have it.
Hey Grayson!

We have a lot of things to fix. I'm glad we already have six wins in the bag because this team played tired.

Saints rushing offense: 32 carries, 152 yards, 1 TD. That's 3 straight games we've given up 100 or more on the ground.

Re: Rapid Reactions Week 8
Enough about the injuries, every team has them.
Showed on the screen where the Saints OLine has taken just 22 snaps together this entire year.
Other than QB (depends on the team) no place I'd prefer to stay healthy than the OLine and we been VERY fortunate there of late.
Of course they lost their QB, no Thomas and so on as well.
Injuries are no excuse.
Saints match up very well against us, on the sidelines and on the field.

Re: Rapid Reactions Week 8
Yeah, the funny thing is the Saints were playing without people too. Missing players is not an excuse for what I saw on the field today.
Re: Rapid Reactions Week 8
They don’t have a single healthy starting level WR on their roster. Trevor fucking Siemian was the QB. This shouldn’t have been a competitive game. Especially with Brady throwing for 370 yards and 4 touchdowns.
The performance in the Super Bowl (which looks less impressive by the week) made people forget that our pass defense looked like a fucking mess for almost the whole of last year.
Bowles has to do a better job. We missed two starters on defense, there is way too much talent on this team to look that bad.

Re: Rapid Reactions Week 8
The Saints literally lost their starting QB while it was tied 7-7. Their backup is actually their 3rd string QB as their usual backup is out with a concussion.
Injuries are a very piss-poor excuse. Do you know how many of the teams we've played were also dealing with injuries? That excuse could've been used then.

Fuck Todd Bowles
Re: Rapid Reactions Week 8
This is an easy game to evaluate, you cannot have that many turnovers and that many penalties and expect to win a game. PERIOD.
Stupid game plan on the drive to go get a FG. We should have just chunked it down the field to get the 3 we needed. We'll hopefully learn from this in the Bye Week like we did last year. However, I will say this, the 2 losses have been against quality coaches. I'm tired of hearing this nonsense of Leftwich and Bowles being considered for HC jobs. They need to coach their team up to that level before they deserve a job. This was another example of Sean Payton being superior to the Bucs in coaching, including his staff. We can overcome this, but we need to be smarter, not just more talented.

Sean Payton sure does make some dumb coaching decisions. Luckily for him, most of them work out

Re: Rapid Reactions Week 8
I'm sorry, I cannot go with that. See blitz coming, find one on one, throw to open area before blitz gets to passer. Pretty simple. That's what happened tonight. I'll give you that in other games, but not tonight.King Bootz wrote: ↑Sun Oct 31, 2021 8:23 pmThat's not on Bowles. That would be on the players not executing

No... it is on Bowles for dialing up something that was not working. This game is all about adjustments... if things start off bad and you don't make adjustments it becomes a shit show.King Bootz wrote: ↑Sun Oct 31, 2021 8:23 pmThat's not on Bowles. That would be on the players not executing

22 blitzes and PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES can't get pressure 1 time? Coddle them all you want, but they didn't do their jobs.
