Mocks like this that roughly double the size of a typical draft class are just too off the wall for me.

It's completely useless to engage with this mock at all when we have like 60 picks. Stop accepting the trades the computer offers and just make the regular picks. Or take like one reasonable seeming trade. Surely at some point during this exercise you realize how unrealistic your number of trades had become, right?

For Verse? Not sure I agree. Completely ignoring our iOL is not a wise way to go when we have 4 picks in the top 92.

For all four picks 3/4ths of the NFL teams decide what we get for leftovers.

Bruh, it's 16 picks. 12 of them made in day 3. You expecting even half that number of day 3 picks to make a 53 man NFL roster on their 1st try??

I'd rather have a conversation about who you don't like.

Isaac Guerendo - nothing fancy but he is a punishing runner.
Micah Abraham - 12 int's 55 PD's (do you know a player with more)
Jaylon Carlies - could get snaps as safety and then move to LB - This draft is not loaded with ILB's.
Myles Harden - 6 int's 26 PD's
Jalen Coker - will be a weapon
Myles Cole and Eric Watts have good speed with size (worth the minimal risk).

Tell me who you don't like. I've done thousands of sims and most of them come out looking like 2021.

I have actually done an auto sim where Caelen Carson was our first pick.

The most real thing about this large mock is the first team offered me a 1st in 2025 and two more picks and I responded with 1 more late pick.

Then the next team offered a 3rd in 2025 and two late picks and I asked for one more. Yeah I liked improving my situation for 2025.

Bigly.

My own quantity mock based off Sim. Quantity as in 5 picks within the 1st 100 picks, 8 total picks, a 2025 4th picked up as well. @mdb1958 Who don't you like?

2 potential day 1 starters along the OL. New backup QB with 4 cheap years of team control and upside as a starter. Competition at ILB, CB, and EDGE. Depth along the OL & special teams.

Did you trade 26 and 125 for 33, 70, and 166? Then that allowed you to get Penix?

I got nothing bad to say but I'm not sure how much help comes after the first two picks. JPJ in the 2nd is even kind of a shock and so is Beebe reaching us in the 2nd. Penix would be addressed at a later time. I will try to replicate this to see if I'd pick someone else.

Chargers proposed 27 for their 37, 69, and their 2025 4th. I accepted. When JPJ went unclaimed in the 1st, I proposed to the 37 & 125 to the Panthers for their 33. They accepted.

I was sitting at 69 when the Bills proposed 70 & 166 to move up 1 spot. I accepted. That's how I got Penix Jr at 70.

The JPJ thing seems a little far fetched but I know those sims are designed to frustrate you. Have you tried to make a trade all on your own yet?

I made a trade from 37 to 33 on my own. Other than that, I haven't been able to move up with success in the 1st. Seems they take into account the needs of the team you're trying to trade with and what's available on the board. Like I tried to move up with Miami to get JPJ in a mock, offered 26, 57 and a 2025 2nd and they said no.

Try this one, they seem to offer to much moving down plus next year offers and maybe one that seems better. But try making your own trades.

Just asked because PFF said he could play either and he put a whole year in at LG in 2021.

I'm sure he can. But if you want the most bang for your buck you're not gonna stick him inside. He has the tools to block the edge and those players come at a premium.
