If Licht can get them all extended he can use the tag on McLaughlin.
Re: ***2024 NFL Offseason thread ***
Umm, what makes you want to get rid of the kicker is how much you are paying him. You are looking around and looking around and then the eyes drift over to the kicker..Grahamburn wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2024 6:24 am If Licht can get them all extended he can use the tag on McLaughlin.

I for one enjoyed the ball going through the uprights 93+% of the time and being able to get points beyond 50 yards for a change. Chase was as automatic of a kicker as we've had in a long time.mdb1958 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2024 8:26 amUmm, what makes you want to get rid of the kicker is how much you are paying him. Me too. Failing to get a TD was way worse though.Grahamburn wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2024 8:53 amI for one enjoyed the ball going through the uprights 93+% of the time and being able to get points beyond 50 yards for a change. Chase was as automatic of a kicker as we've had in a long time.

Kickers are criminally under rated. They decide a good chunk of games. Make no mistake, without Chase there is no division title and playoff run.

Re: ***2024 NFL Offseason thread ***
It's very possible AWJ's 2023 season is the best of his entire career.
122 tackles.
6 FFs. some game saving.
3 INTs.
6 sacks.
he was also at least good-to-very-good in every other facet of being a safety.
It's an absurd season. but it shows you what his ceiling is. If he was 30, I'd be more circumspect about paying him. but he's entering his age 26 season. I think you pay him, but you gotta get good term on it. I'm looking for years if I'm the Bucs.
He's a very smart and well-coached player. Clutchness is a habit for a guy like that.

AWJr is our best defensive player and deserves to be paid, by us.
Re: ***2024 NFL Offseason thread ***
I wouldn't have a problem seeing him or Henry in a Bucs uniform.
Breaking: The New York Giants are not placing the franchise tag on RB Saquon Barkley, sources told Adam Schefter.
Barkley will become a free agent.

I'm ok with Rashaad White. I'd rather spend money on upgrading the interior OLine and drafting a 4th round RB to help. I don't think bringing in an injury prone Barkley or aging Henry is a smart decision.

Zero difference between 4th round and UDFA RB.CannonFire wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2024 11:43 am I'm ok with Rashaad White. I'd rather spend money on upgrading the interior OLine and drafting a 4th round RB to help. I don't think bringing in an injury prone Barkley or aging Henry is a smart decision.

Then take that route, lol, I don't care. It's still better than spending money on Barkley or Henry.mdb1958 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2024 12:00 pmZero difference between 4th round and UDFA RB.CannonFire wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2024 11:43 am I'm ok with Rashaad White. Do you believe that injured players ought not make a lot of money? Or are you saying that there is a line somewhere? If it is the latter then where is that line?BucsNBills wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2024 7:35 pmAdams made so much money and he was injured for most of his career.

He’s just saying he’s made a ton of money for not a whole lot of production. It happens.Onthebrink wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2024 12:55 amDo you believe that injured players ought not make a lot of money?
