Rumor: JJ Watt out for season with shoulder injury

Post by Snake »

the Cardinals are shaping up to be a playoff obstacle we will likely face, so this is notable.

JJ Watt’s injury résumé is depressing. We’ve been deprived of much of a HOF career.

And I'm sure the Cardinals will continue being aggressive and make a trade to fill the void.

We won last year by being aggressive and not being content with what we have...

Do you really think that's an appropriate response to my message? Why the hate? Why the aggression?

Ok LUGZ, what moves did we make during the season last year that “kept us aggressive?”

We brought the entire team back also by being super aggressive with future cap numbers so we can squeeze everyone in.

There are no JJ Watt caliber players available in late October.

AB was the only acquisition we made mid season last year and that was only due to his 8 game suspension, prior relationship with Brady, and the fact he was cheap b/c most every other team was scared to touch him given his still pending legal issues at the time.

What players would you like the Bucs to trade for right now? What makes you believe they are available and at what cost?

If you can't comment on that this is just more of you shouting into the wind about how the defending Super Bowl champs and winners of 14 of their last 15 games somehow aren't doing enough to win in your view.

Why is there an assumption that I was taking a shot at the team? I literally commented about how the Cardinals are going about their roster. They've been aggressive, like we were last year. We won by doing so. That's it.

Some of you are reading too much into what I say.

Big time. Imo he played his best game of the season by far on Sunday. He was disruptive nearly every play.

But signing older vets with an injury history like Watts is usually a risky move for this reason.

So @ATrain isn't the ATrain from the other boards? I remember the name just not his conversation type.

You might as well stay. LUGZ apparently has been blipped from the board.

Quit being such victim, we already have Bootz here for that.

I'm not suggesting you leave, but you don't need a mod to IP ban you (as if there aren't easy ways around that). Just have some self control and not visit this place if you're that fragile.

We brought in Steve McClendon when Vea went out.

He was serviceable enough we brought him back, no? I haven’t seen his name so maybe he was cut because he was like 34 when we traded for him.

McClendon is still here. It's just with Vea back he's been buried on the depth chart. Vea, Suh, Nacho, and Gholston get the lions share of the defensive snaps along the interior. McClendon is strictly a run stuffer who offers little to nothing on a passing play so other than goal line or other short yardage situations he doesn't have much of a role.

In fact I believe McClendon was a healthy scratch Sunday vs Chicago and Pat O'Connor was the 5th Dlinemen since O'Conner plays on all the special teams and McClendon isn't athletic enough to play on special teams.

ATrain is LUGZ.

LUGZ=the worst...especially when he tries to walk back his bullshit with, "I was only trying to...______", then asks for IP bans or threatens to quit the board.

We were still aggressive this year signing a HOF corner. Hopefully by late season, everyone will be healthy

Watt just can't seem to stay healthy anymore. Whoever replaces him has to be easier to block which is a great thing for us obviously. I still think the Rams are the biggest threat to a repeat.

The way you spend your time on the internet and how you conduct yourself on this forum is entirely up to you. Not us. It has been long understood you need a bit of a hide around here. Being here a decade plus you ought to know. I'm not going to permanently ban you. Not yet anyway. But like a bartender who cuts someone off, you've clearly had enough and need to sit the next few rounds out. I'll see you on Sunday after the game.

The problem with ATrain was he was told that we were tired of his negativity. He then says oops, my bad, I will work on it. Then proceeded to double down on his negativity. You misspelled your name "Negative Nancy."

True story - I owned a Jake Plummer jersey once. I just thought the Arizona state flag on the sleeves was cool, and #16 was my lucky number.

That's probably as close as I'll come to a Watt jersey TBH.

I am a little confused as to why that is even your business. If he changes his name to start over fresh is it required for him to think like you do in order to post here?

If I say something 4 people don't like then I'm in trouble? Pete threatened to ban me over (there), for what? I don't even know. And at a place where it was supposed to be unable to be done.

Did I call his bluff? No.

I just waited to talk to him for 2 weeks and said Sir am I allowed to talk to you now.

Childish behavior should take a back seat to self control. Please do not think this is for you only, I think everyone should consider it.

Pete is NOT an admin at Buczone so he can't ban anyone.

IDGAF who changes their screen name. It doesn't mean I'm going to forget who they are.
