I mean it's technically offseason now for the Broncos and other teams not in playoffs, right? Anyway, there's a rumor about the Broncos' new uniform for the 2024 season.. Check this out

They should just go with that conceptual throwback from a random person.
Literally better than anything the NFL offices would create.

Rodgers back on McAfee one day later after they said he was done for the season, Weird
Re: ***2024 NFL Offseason thread ***
Will the Giants franchise Barkley again?
Stay tuned

Re: ***2024 NFL Offseason thread ***
That would be hella dumb. IMO, if they can go 6-11 with him, they can go 6-11 without him.
The franchise tag will cost way too much for a RB who has played a full season of games ONE TIME in his six year career. Hard Pass.
Re: ***2024 NFL Offseason thread ***
6-11 with a terrible OL, though. Christian McCaffrey wouldn’t do anything with those guys blocking, either. If the Giants can get some guys to block for Jones and Barkley, watch out. They also need a WR weapon. They’re weak there.

BB and Winston to Atlanta, LFG!

Hard to believe Rich McKay is still with the Falcons organization after all these years.

Season’s first general manager hire: Commanders are hiring 49ers’ assistant GM Adam Peters as their general manager, sources tell ESPN.
Peters won a Super Bowl while working in New England and Denver, and has been in SF since 2017, helping build one of the NFL’s top rosters.
Re: ***2024 NFL Offseason thread ***
I think Atlanta is going to be aggressive in pursuing Justin Fields. I do think Chicago trades him IF someone like Atl offers them a lot, including a first and more.
Re: ***2024 NFL Offseason thread ***
Does it have to be a lot?
He's either your guy or he's not. If he's not then the bid is set by whoever else wants him.

Not a soul and if Chicago felt he was worth that much they'd be working out an extension for him and not a trade.

We’ll see. If someone is desperate enough for a qb, they will. If not, he stays in Chicago. Simple as that.

Re: ***2024 NFL Offseason thread ***
I mean, no it isn’t as simple as that. I think they MIGHT get a mid-2nd. And they should jump on it if they do.
If they don’t trade him it won’t be because they weren’t offered a first round pick.
Re: ***2024 NFL Offseason thread ***
Then that’s the Bears admitting failure with Fields, bc they moved up and gave up picks just a couple of years ago to grab him early in the 1st. Now they’re settling for a mid-2nd. And maybe that’s the case. But if I’m them, I keep him. Give him some weapons and I think you can get more out of him.Grahamburn wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 12:59 pmI mean, no it isn’t as simple as that. I think they MIGHT get a mid-2nd. I hope not.
The worst part of seeing our divisional teams can their coaches is the prospect that they may actually get a good one next.
Re: ***2024 NFL Offseason thread ***
Wow! Our very own John Lynch has now sprouted his very own "GM tree." Pretty cool.Phantom wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 12:06 pmSeason’s first general manager hire: Commanders are hiring 49ers’ assistant GM Adam Peters as their general manager, sources tell ESPN.

Man, the Baker hater in me reallllly hopes this comment has legs. He could have said something about working with Baker, but he didn't. I'm hoping that is a subtle clue that we don't want Baker here long term.
Re: ***2024 NFL Offseason thread ***
Coach speak, and I don’t blame him.
Re: ***2024 NFL Offseason thread ***
Exactly. He can't be tying himself to him if the team is undecided on Baker going forward. Sounds to me like Canales is already adept at coach-speak.

Re: ***2024 NFL Offseason thread ***
Mike Vrabel is not going to anyone. He said the GM or I am walking two years in a row. They picked him last year, he thinks he's more important that he is. I doubt he ever gets another HC job after that
Re: ***2024 NFL Offseason thread ***
The whole quote is below. He is definitely saying he wants to be here with Baker
“I’d love to be in Tampa for a long time,” Bucs offensive coordinator Canales volunteered during Thursday’s press conference. “I know whatever our plans are for the future, Baker has been unbelievable. For whatever job I may get credited for – Baker, the belief in himself, the ability to bring a team together to grow, to continue to own his growth and own his mistakes. I just love that kind of guy. I love being around him.”

He's another admitted liar who doesn't care about things like truth or reality. The entire context of what was said was purposely missed here.kaimaru wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 3:39 pmThe whole quote is below. He is definitely saying he wants to be here with Baker

Bobby Wagner being all pro is ehhh.
I dunno about that one. For a guy who is totally one dimensional at this point in his career.

The leagues leading tackler being named an All-Pro is suuuuuuuuuuuch a travesty

Foyesade Oluokun Led the NFL in tackles in both 2021 and 2022. No pro bowls or all pros.
Zach Cunningham led the nfl in tackles in 2020. No pro bowls or all pros.
Wonder why…

Re: ***2024 NFL Offseason thread ***
So if you lead the league in tackles that automatically disqualifies you for the All-Pro team. Got it.
