Congrats this week goes to Bahamian:bucfan, with his second victory this season, just barely beating two others. With the other win being 31 points off, B:b has to win one more time to take the season trophy, he's totally behind in every tiebreaker.

I'll begin.

I believe Doc must have passed a little Hopeium around because the comments after Monday night's game in New Jersey do not seem to have us losing out, for the first time in weeks it seems. I took one small sip of it but this game is key. Green Bay is hurting and they're on a short week, but they still have playoff hopes and they're at home. But it won't be frozen, high of 41 degrees, overcast with light winds and a slight chance of rain.

Essentially the playoffs started for us two games ago, it is amazing that with three weeks to go a) that 30 teams still have a chance to make the playoffs and b) that if we win out, we're either a 4 seed or in the most imaginative squeezing of the playoff machine, a 3 seed going into the postseason. Two weeks ago we were wondering if we could still get the #2 or 3 pick.

This of course could be the beginning of a Grudenesque 4-game collapse. You never know. But I'm not picking the Bucs to lose, I haven't yet.

This came down to the second tiebreaker. Kress (30-16), TonyLip (28-22), and Doooshnzl (30-24) were all 8 points off, leaving BiBl fourth at 9 points off.

First tiebreaker (only 1 sack by the Bucs) eliminated Dooshnzl (4/2), and the second tiebreaker, with 5 sacks recorded by the Packers, goes to the over, TonyLip (3/3) over Kress (3/2).

@Jonny , Kress wasn't lying! That was definitely a not-insignificant part of the calculus. That plus the very solid receiving back Jones (especially in the Screen game) returning didn't bode well for us getting crucial stops where Jones was involved...and or big plays generated because we (White) abandon/neglect our assignment to cover him.

Beyond that, you're just talking about looking at the mean and median numbers for both teams, their trends, and a few other particular matchups (like Love's ability to extend plays and our struggles getting those guys onto the ground and staying attached downfield + our iOL struggles and Kenny Clark and Devonte Wyatt wreaking havoc).

Sack'em is us sacking em, er them and you both picked 3, you were both off by two. Sack'us is them sacking us and you were more optimistic than TonyLip. The pessimist who predicted both a Bucs win and the QB being pounded the most won the week. Luckily next week's contest is less, er, potentially confusing??? I mean it's hard to confuse the field goals, right? Right?
