It is a money game. Teams can't afford all their star players. Look at KC. After signing Mahomes to a big contract, they couldn't afford to keep LT Orlando Brown. Had to sign Donovan Smith to replace him. Big drop in talent. On the books it looks like the Bucs have a lot of money to spend next season, but they also have to resign a number of good players. There may not be enough salary cap money to go around to resign everyone.

I don't know if I have seen that here, but on Bucs news sites with comments, there are many who said you don't pay a 31 year old wide receiver the money he want, and they should let him walk. I am guessing 13F11B goes to those sites too and mixed up the crowd he is talking to
