I'd like to pair him with either the kid from Michigan or the kid from Florida State.Grahamburn wrote: ↑Tue Nov 14, 2023 5:10 pm White has been a great receiver. I think he has definitely missed some holes as a runner. Don't remember anyone saying they wanted to get rid of him?

Re: Week 11 Discussion
No need to get rid of White. He's our 3rd best offensive weapon and has some explosiveness to his game. The real question we need to be asking is, should we draft a RB in the next draft and the answer is yes. We need a Tyler Allgier or Javonte Williams type that can manufacture offense on their own more consistently and power their way to get us a yard when we need it.

I still think Sean Tucker could be a thing. Not sure why he has been so invisible.
Re: Week 11 Discussion
Get rid of? No. But he's not a good RB. He's good catching the ball and making plays in space. But he struggles creating.

Literally no one ever said we should get rid of White.

Re: Week 11 Discussion
I read a few "trade for Taylor!" posts, but I felt like those were in jest. Rashad Penny's name came up as well. But, I didn't see it as anything other than finding a more thunder back to White's lightning.Phantom wrote: ↑Tue Nov 14, 2023 5:37 pmSomeone sure did…-shrug-Grahamburn wrote: ↑Tue Nov 14, 2023 5:10 pm White has been a great receiver. Rachaad White is an excellent receiving and general third down back, and I think he could work well in a reduced role as a change of pace dude in the run game, saving his energy for those later down reps. I am glad he's on the team.
THAT SAID, I think we need to get a guy who is a dynamic runner. Given Licht's track record of drafting smaller backs and expecting them to be good in between the tackles and that never working throughout his tenure, I would prefer if not advocate adding a more powerful runner who can make hay between the tackles in future via the draft.
Keep White fresh so he can do what he does best. I like the guy, but he has had what, one objectively great game running the ball in two years? He's not near good enough to be a bellcow back imo, nor should he be expected to be one given his middling results as a runner.

In a bold move the Bucs sign CB Jaquan Johnson to the practice squad and release DT CJ Brewer.

Who led the NFL in passers rating?
Brock Purdy

6’2 170. Wouldn’t describe him as a power back lol.mdb1958 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 8:31 amCheb wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 1:14 am Rachaad White is an excellent receiving and general third down back, and I think he could work well in a reduced role as a change of pace dude in the run game, saving his energy for those later down reps. Who woulda thunk Jordan Mailata could sing.
Re: Week 11 Discussion
I’ve followed this kid since he was a senior in high school. I’d put a 0% change he’s 6’4 and a -50% chance he’s 210. He was 160 pounds as a freshman at ASU. He has not put on 50 pounds.

Poor Browns
Breaking: Deshaun Watson will undergo season-ending surgery on a broken bone in his throwing shoulder, the Browns announced.

C'mon man. He ain't 6'4 or 210.

Re: Week 11 Discussion
Impressive that he finished that Ravens game 14-14 and led a game winning drive. The Browns have been so unlucky on offense this year with Chubb, Wills, and now Watson out.

Re: Week 11 Discussion
Can the RDE position be pressured into making plays against Frisco or does that really not effect the defensive backfield.
Or help an indecisive LB make the correct decision.

Re: Week 11 Discussion
He looks bigger than Bryce Young. I'll give him that.
Re: Week 11 Discussion
The measurements @Snake listed look accurate. I'll give him 6'2 170. But he's nowhere near 210 or 6'4.

The Ravens handed him his ass earlier this season. Steelers will likely do the same.
