Outside of the 49ers and Jags it's a pretty gravy remaining schedule. Tennessee (with a rookie QB!), Carolina twice (with a rookie QB!), NO at home, Atlanta, Green Bay, and the Colts. Any defensive coach worth his salt should go 7-2 in this stretch.

Yeah, like Houston with a rookie QB.

Not sure if mentioned and I have zero desire to go back through this depressing thread to research it, but this game was the first time in NFL history that a 39-37 score has been recorded.

NO is playing much better than when the Bucs defeated them. If the Bucs go 6-3 to end up 9-8 it wont be enough win the NFCS but might be enough for a wildcard game.

If the season ended today the following NFC teams would be in the playoffs:
Philadelphia
Detroit
New Orleans
San Francisco
and Dallas and Seattle as the WC teams.
All of the above teams have 5 victories compared to the Bucs 3 victories.

Do you know how many teams have made the playoffs after starting 3-6 in the last 30 years? Seven. Out of 149. That works out to 4.6%. On the other hand, 27 of 164 teams have made the playoffs after starting 4-5. That’s still not encouraging, but a win on Sunday more than triples Tampa Bay’s postseason odds.
