Week 7 Discussion
Re: Week 7 Discussion
I know it's still early, but are the Colts done?
How about the Bills? Probably not the Bills.
The Chiefs are adding nails to their division coffin as each week goes by.
Lions suffered a big loss, but they're still in command of their division.
Seahawks surprising at 4-2 and just a game behind the 9ers.
Eagles slowly taking over their division. Another Cowboys loss and they will be hurting.

Are the Colts done? Yes. They were in a bit of a rebuild when Richardson was healthy. Without him, I'm not sure Garnder Menshew can keep pace in this surprisingly good division.Buc2 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 8:51 am I know it's still early, but are the Colts done?

Bills? No, but they have a ton of problems. I said before the year I felt their window was closing. They now have as many losses as they did last year with a few tough games left.
The Chiefs are as they always are: They get better and better as the year goes on. Wash, rinse, repeat. 6 straight wins now.
The Lions were always overrated IMO. Kudos to them for being better than the NFC South and the Packers. They beat KC with no Kelce, Jones or Gay and did it by 1 point. Baltimore is IMO one of the best teams in football and they went through the Lions like they were a practice squad team.
Not sure the Seahawks can keep pace. They are so inconsistent. But Geno Smith is showing that 2022 wasn't a fluke.
The Eagles told everybody they hadn't peaked yet last month. I wouldn't say they've peaked yet now but they are very impressive. I think they run away with the division in November.

Titans trade Byard to the Eagles for two late round picks and Terrell Edmunds.

He would have looked great next to Winfield.

Honestly I'd take you next to Winfield as an upgrade over Ryan Neal. He's garbage.Pirate Life wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 3:46 pm Titans trade Byard to the Eagles for two late round picks and Terrell Edmunds.

But this is a steal by the Eagles. They seem to have made the Titans their farm system.

With my knees and shoulder, Neal is probably a better choice honestly. Unless they let me borrow Arians' golf cart on the field.Bootz wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 4:10 pmHonestly I'd take you next to Winfield as an upgrade over Ryan Neal. Sure you would, Pitts would have tire tracks over his legs instead of catching that ball.Bootz wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 4:29 pmWe wouldn't even know the differencePirate Life wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 4:18 pm

Re: Week 7 Discussion
Vikings-49ers game should be a great one.
Re: Week 7 Discussion
For @Bootz ?
Re: Week 7 Discussion
Not gonna lie, the Vikings have the best pre-game hype up in the league by far.

The Vikings offensive game plan has been frustratingly perfect against the Niners D. The Niners don't have answers for anything.

Re: Week 7 Discussion
49ers are being outcoached so far. That screen pass just caught them completely in the wrong defense.
Re: Week 7 Discussion
Enough time left in the half for Kirk Cousins to throw an interception
Re: Week 7 Discussion
Great play, saved an interception and got a touchdown

Tyreek’s feet inspire fear in all NFL defenses.
It’s only matched by the fear his hands inspire in women and children.

Punting there was a weak move. Playing to lose

This Niners offense is simply not the same when CMC isn't right.

So we’ll see how good Brock is under 2 minute drill.

Re: Week 7 Discussion
There's gonna be discussions about how far the Niners can go with Purdy. He clearly cannot carry this team.
