Question: Now that this site is owned by the community, are there rules still against directly pasting links into threads like this? If there are not, I could just post some community resources that people could refer back to.

I think that question may assume some facts not in evidence. Regardless, however, it is a topic worth discussing. I think the primary concern would be posting links to things that are illegal…but lets take this discussion to the administrative forum and discuss there.

I know there were rules against it on prior iterations of this board.

If it's a no-no site, the owners of this forum (attention @ModX) wouldn't want people directly linking to it from here.

If I tell you: "Go over to this named site, scroll to there, and click the link you see over there to get it" - that's fine.

This is good. Combine with the other suggestion of just avoiding direct linking, I think more than meets our needs.

Really? Damn. Did not know they did that. I had that with DirecTV, but looked for that and did not see it with YoutubeTV NFL Ticket.

As has been said already... Mentioning a resource is fine. Directly linking to a site in copyright violation is not... at least not in an open forum. Someone MIGHT have already emailed something to you, BIBL. And if @ModX has a "members only" section of the site set up, that would be cool, too.

Don't know about that last bit. I have Verizon, and was gratified, last year, to see that I could watch a game up here in Northern AL that wasn't Falcons or Titans. But tried to do so the other day but all I could get was NFL Gameday. Unfortunately, my laptop was getting rebuilt, and none of these "smart tvs" scattered about the place would let me access the stream once I got to the streaming site. Would let me select the game, but all I could get after that was those fucking gambling sites, or MB's porn sites.
