The Saints protected pedophiles. If you want to jump on that hand grenade to protect the saints, be my guest.Bootz wrote: ↑Sun Sep 10, 2023 7:20 pmPedo?!?! Listen man, it's your thing to call Payton & the Saints dirty. That's fine. But please leave kids out of it. That says more about you than it does Payton.BucsNBills wrote: ↑Sun Sep 10, 2023 7:12 pm Looks like Payton brought the dirty piece of shit knee targeting bounty gate pedo protecting attitude to Denver

Almost everyone there is a Miami fan. Do Chargers ever get a home crowd?

The Chargers never should have moved to LA, they aren’t even the most popular team there in their own division.uscbucsfan1 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 10, 2023 7:37 pm Almost everyone there is a Miami fan. Do Chargers ever get a home crowd?
Re: ***Official 2023 NFL Season Thread***
I don't think the rams shoulda left stl, if i were to rewrite history the raiders wouldve went back to LA and the Chargers stay in SD.

They a metric fuckton of fans in SD. They just couldnt get a stadium deal done unfortunately.Miller4Prez64 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 10, 2023 7:42 pmThe Chargers should have gone to Vegas instead of the Raiders. The name even fits for the electric nightlife of Vegas.
Re: ***Official 2023 NFL Season Thread***
Raiders definitely should've gone back to LA. I think had that happened the Chargers likely end up in Vegas. Not sure what the Rams would do but they wouldn't be able to share LA with the Raiders. St. Louis & San Diego had no interests in further supporting those teams.

Justin Fields is going to have to take the next step soon. I didn't see the game but the passing yards leave a lot to be desired
Re: ***Official 2023 NFL Season Thread***
Some very interesting stuff today.
-Joe Burrow was abysmal today. 14-31 82 yards. That's 2.6/pass. It was pouring rain and I see that being the excuse for him and the Bengals putting up 3 points. Deshaun Watson played in the same rain, went 16-29 153 yards 1 TD, 1 pick. He also ran for a TD and the Browns scored 24.
-The 3 rookie QBs selected in the 1st round all lost their debuts. But all 3 did some very good things. No one looked out of their element. Judging by numbers and highlights, Richardson appeared to have the best day. He was the Colts running game. Stroud didn't lead any TD drives but completed a lot of passes. Young has the roughest day. We'll see how all 3 develops as QBs.
-GBs QB pipeline appears to be in good shape. Jordan Love had a pretty good day, throwing for 3 TDs. Their defense looks good as well, although it was against the Bears.
-Tua looked like the QB who signed a $262mil contract. He looks bigger. The arm looks a lot more lively. If he can stay healthy, the Dolphins could be a dangerous tea.

I don’t get the hate either, but I wouldn’t say he is THE reason. His supporting cast isn’t too shabby.
Hopefully for him and their team/fans he can stay healthy.
Re: ***Official 2023 NFL Season Thread***
We all want the Chargers back here in SD where they belong
Re: ***Official 2023 NFL Season Thread***
Yeah, I’m confident Burrow’s going to figure it out. He started last season awfully.
Weird stuff up there in Cincinnati.

Burrow will be fine. It's just weird that social media and fans are finding it difficult to say he had a terrible game. 1 game does not make a season.

Re: ***Official 2023 NFL Season Thread***
Impressive, I’m happy for Purdy. We may witness the greatness.. too soon?Dolphins’ QB Tua Tagovailoa passed for 466 yards today, the fourth-most passing yards in a season-opening game in NFL history, trailing only Norm Van Brocklin, (554 yards in 1951), Tom Brady (517 yards in 2011) and Dan Marino (473 yards in 1994).
Tyreek Hill registered 215 receiving yards today, the third-most receiving yards in a season-opening game in NFL history, trailing only Frank Clarke (241 yards in 1962) and Anquan Boldin (217 yards in 2003).
Brock Purdy is the first quarterback in NFL history to win each of his first six career regular-season starts and throw at least two touchdown passes in each start. Purdy also is the first quarterback in NFL history with a passer rating of 95-or-higher in each of his first six career regular-season starts.

I have no clue what the Giants coaching staff is doing leaving Daniel Jones in there to continue getting his shit rocked down 40 with 4 minutes left.

It’s too bad the equal and opposite reaction of a New York team getting annihilated tonight is a big Cowboys W.

Any True Detective fans here? Well, you know that scene where Rust takes Marty to his storage unit in order to show him that awful VHS tape? It was so bad that Marty yelled in horror and couldn't finish it.
That Giants vs Cowboys SNF game is what was on the tape.
No wonder Marty couldn't stomach it

Just me, but I think the Bills window is closing. Might not be closed yet, but it's getting there. The Jets are Dolphins have loaded up and I'm not convinced Buffalo is keeping up.
