70 days until the 1st preseason game 8/11 at home vs the Steelers
62 days until the Hall of Fame Game (Browns vs Jets)
56 days until the first TC practice (if we go by the 2 week rule from 1st preseason game)

His son is THAT Robert Marve, well known to Tampa football fans.
Eugene passed on at the Age of 60. RIP.

He’s been around as long as Lavonte. He fits the defense to a T. But I think they want to see Hall take the reins and not look back.

If he doesn’t re-sign here, I hope it’s with a contender.

I think Bowles has decided that Mayfield will be the starter come hell or high water. Mayfield would have to look really bad in preseason practice and games for him not to start. Mayfield will get to play with the starters while Trask get to play with 3rd stringers or those who won't make the team.
By midseason Bowles will learn why Mayfield was let go by Cleveland, Carolina and the Rams. Bucs coaches will be asking the same questions those other teams asked themselves. Why did Mayfield not audible out of that play? Why did Mayfield audible into a play that went right into the strength of the defense? Why didn't he recognize the defense? Why did he throw into double coverage when his secondary receiver was open? Those whys are the reason why Mayfield was let go by his previous 3 teams.

I think so too. It seems it's really going to come down to protecting the football. Baker has a much bigger chip on his shoulder that could cause him to push the ball a bit more. A single pre-season INT can be what makes or breaks this race.

So far in mandatory, Trask has 2 INTs and 2 dropped. Mayfield has had no interceptions. So Trask needs to clean that up if he has any shot
