Re: MLB 23
I can't tell if the Rays are solid or just playing some really bad teams. That series with Boston and Oakland will be telling. A's at the Trop has been a scheduled for.... Shit man as long as I can remember and it's been since 2006
Re: MLB 23
If you're a plate umpire, how do you even show your face after this is plastered all over social media and sports media?
Don't tread on me
Re: MLB 23
I was against robo umps for the longest time. Not anymore. It’s time. Umpires are just too sucky.
Re: MLB 23
Rays are 9 out away from being 6-0. The bats are incredibly hot. Keeping Wander healthy will make a world of difference for this lineup.

Damn the Rays are 6-0
Best record in baseball
Yeah it’s Tigers and Nationals but so what?

Re: MLB 23
They're only giving up 2.1 runs/game (there known for pitching, so not a HUGE surprise there), but also, we're scoring 7.3/game, a full run/game more than anybody else in the league! The bats will cool sooner rather than later, but hopefully the pitching stays as strong.
Re: MLB 23
Same ump still f'n it up. This one was as blatant, but it was still not a strike.

Chad Mottola should never have to buy a drink in the Bay Area ever again. The Devil Rays hit show prophecy finally came to life. I mean it took 20 years but we got it
Re: MLB 23
What’s he doing differently this year than he’s been doing his last 7 seasons as hitting coach? These Are The Days wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 9:25 pm Chad Mottola should never have to buy a drink in the Bay Area ever again. Re: MLB 23
Oh nothing at all. It somehow just got better and better and better. I can't remember the last time we were jacking 5 home runs a game like this. I know this isn't sustainable but it's at least a happy memory we'll get to keepBootz wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 9:58 pmWhat’s he doing differently this year than he’s been doing his last 7 seasons as hitting coach? These Are The Days wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 9:25 pm Chad Mottola should never have to buy a drink in the Bay Area ever again. Re: MLB 23
Imagine if Baz and Glasnow were healthy and in the rotation. Also, sign Rasmussen to an extension like NOW plzkthx

Re: MLB 23
An embarrassment of riches. Like who do you take out of the rotation? McClanahan is definitely an ace. Eflin looks as good as advertised and worth the money. Same with Springs, he looks good so far after signing his extension. Fleming perhaps? These Are The Days wrote: ↑Sat Apr 08, 2023 8:59 am Imagine if Baz and Glasnow were healthy and in the rotation. Re: MLB 23
Fleming to the pen. I think he can throw an inning against a bottom of an order if counted on. In no order I'd go with McClanahan, Glasnow, Springs, Rasmussen and Eflin. Baz isn't gonna be around this year so we can worry about how he slots into that rotation later. It's very possible we could use him as a long reliever with success too.Bootz wrote: ↑Sat Apr 08, 2023 6:01 pmAn embarrassment of riches. Like who do you take out of the rotation? No one in MLB did it in 20 years!!!

Re: MLB 23
The Rays have outscored their opponents, 64-18. Their plus-46 run differential through the first eight games of the season ranks as the largest ever in the Modern Era (since 1900), shattering the previous record of plus-40 set by the White Sox in 1955 and matched by Cleveland in 1999.
Re: MLB 23
Unreal the rays is getting closer to 9-0
7-0 right now

Re: MLB 23
Turn on the game and it's 7-0 Rays with a man on 3rd 1 out. How do they maintain this throughout the year?

I know they're not but I swear watching this offense makes me wonder "they have to be stealing signs" sometimes
