Jimmy G is a free agent so it is almost 100% certain that he will be playing for another team in 2023.
If you were the HC/GM of a QB needy team, would you rather play an unproven rookie, or someone who has had success in the NFL?
I wouldn't be surprised if a team signed Jimmy G and also drafted a QB.

Thing with Jimmy G is you pretty much know what you're getting and what you're not getting. Best bet is he goes on a Nick Foles like streak and somehow you win a ring with him. But it's not likely.

You can't bet on Purdy helping you in 2023 with that injury. That's a game changer.

Jimmy G. is a free agent, and frankly, he's more along for the ride than driving the bus. Considering where they're at as a franchise and a roster, I let someone else give him the $20-$25 mil or so he'll get.

You bring in Matt Ryan, who had his greatest succusses for Shanny Jr.
You let him compete with Lance.
You let Brock Purdy heal.
And you trust your scouts and GM to find another Brock Purdy in the draft. This isn't as difficult as it sounds, because you have great coaches and an incredibly QB-friendly scheme.
